The version that Best Buy sent has blu ray and dvd but no digital copy/code. This is a major reason for getting this movie and as a result, I am very disappointed in this purchase. If you want a digital copy, save yourself the time and don't buy it from Best Buy

Have not watched yet but I am looking forward to doing so

I bought this as a Christmas present for my boy friend who just bought a new 4K TV at Best Buy. It was a high end Samsung and he hired the Geek Squad to install it, so for whatever reason, they threw in a Blu-ray DVD Deck. He mostly watches sports, but I want to see how the TV will look with a Hi Def movie. I know 4K would be better, but that was too expensive. I've never seen any Blu-ray movie myself. I already know this is a great movie he has never seen, but he won't stop watching sports long enough to watch this. Can't wait.

Another brilliant amazing spectacular Movie with such an artistic, beautiful and extremely very gifted also very talented Cast/Crew again with Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams etc...just get it/take it add to Your Collection trust Me You’ll be happy You did fellow Movie Lovers/Movie Owners!

I believe this movie was about about a bunch of people who'd rather scam for a living instead of doing 9 to 5 like most Americans holding one or two, possibly three part-time jobs at the same time. There's a lot of witty lines spoken, sarcasm humor, and an engaging plot.

Fun movie where you are not sure who is playing who until the end. Ending is satisfying. Movie is well made top to bottom. Seeing Christian Bale in this role is kind of mind melting if you think Batman when you see him like I do.

I usually watch movies with little or no suspense regarding character's motivations. Amy Adam's performance in American Hustle had me questioning her loyalties at least twice, shifting from Bale's Irving Rosenfeld to Cooper's Richie DiMaso and back again. A great performance with plenty of nuance.

This is a movie that perfectly captured the era of Abscam and then goes beyond it to lay down the events leading up to it as well as the people and personalities behind it. Great cast; great film; great price here.

A classic that explores a group of people in the 1970’s that got involved in the drug business for easy money, however they seemed to have bit off more than they bargained for. Great for your collection!

I realize this is an older film, but I just recently watched it for the first time. I thought it was great, Bradley Cooper plays his part well, but I’m not a huge fan of the “faux” Brooklyn accent.

Great all star cast in this one. It should have won for beat movie because of the great acting by everyone. No spoiler alert but the plot twist at the end is excellent! You should grab this if you haven't already.

I'm happy now I got it on Bluray, I've seen it twice before buying this but it's still another win for David O Russell in this unique biopic that a absolute watch.

One thing that can really elevate a film is to have a great ensemble cast. It’s not often that a movie gets Oscar-nominated for all 4 acting awards (Best Actor/Actress & Supporting Actor/Actress). Director David O. Russell’s SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK did it in 2013 and in 2014 his film AMERICAN HUSTLE did it again, so he must be doing something right to pull off such a rare feat. The movie is loosely based on the ABSCAM scandal, but instead of just making a standard thriller, Russell is more interested in fleshing out the interesting characters caught in this desperate situation. ARGO was also based on a true story and won Best Picture the previous year, but I’d argue that AMERICAN HUSTLE is a better movie and is much more conducive to repeated viewings. AMERICAN HUSTLE was a whole lot of fun and is one of the movies from 2013 that I’m most likely to watch again and again. As a woman who has tried to reinvent herself to conceal her more humble beginnings, Amy Adams would have been a very strong contender for best actress had it not been for Cate Blanchett in BLUE JASMINE, a much less enjoyable film (sadly, Brie Larson was overlooked for her great work in SHORT TERM 12). Christian Bale is great as the charismatic pot-bellied con man and its fun to watch Bradley Cooper’s character struggle when his character is out of his depth, but its wildcard Jennifer Lawrence as Bale’s housewife who really shakes things up and has the potential to derail everyone else’s plans through her careless, clueless actions. It is one’s intentions which matter the most according to her, regardless of the possible consequences fo doing blatantly stupid things. She did a great job here as an unusual type of character and only lost the Oscar because Lupita Nyongo did such an amazing job in 12 YEARS A SLAVE. Jeremy Renner does a good job at a difficult task: playing a politician who’s actually quite likeable and honestly seems to be trying to do something in his constituents’ best interests instead of just trying to increase his own bank account. Being a new movie, the Blu-ray transfer looks beautiful as expected and professional reviewers have described the picture and sound quality as flawless. The extras include deleted/extended scenes and a making-of segment.

This film has so many terrific performances it is difficult to pick out just one to praise. Not a surprise that the academy nominated Christian Bale and Jennifer Lawrence.

Loosely based on a true story from the 70’s. Plays with danger but doesn’t get violent. Sexy, electric and fun. Good soundtrack.

The movie is intelligent, entertaining and very well acted. The Bluray release is bare bones, few extras and cheaply packaged. Audio & video is average.

I’ve been wanting to purchase this movies for a while now. Price is amazing and with digital copy. you can’t beat it. perfect time to add to collection.

This was a good movie. If it weren’t for the fact that I really dislike Jennifer Lawrence I would have enjoyed it more

With 10 Academy Award nominations, I was expecting a bit more from this film. Bale and Cooper go to the extremes in pushing their acting skills, but Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence steal the show here. Disappointed to see DeNiro show up as the mob guy---it's become too cliched---tired of him. Based on true events in the 70's, an entertaining movie that falls short of being really good.

I am expanding my personal online movie collection, and this was on sale and included a digital copy. This is a great, award winning movie.
