Router is passing through data almost as fast as a direct connect. Lots of options for security and for tweaking the signal. Got through to phone support in less than 5 minutes.

Not sure why but after a few weeks of use, the router would disconnect from the internet. This caused me to manually log on to setup.ampedwireless.com and reconnect which was at the very least a pain. Now I cannot even connect to the website to reconnect. Followed the setup instructions to the letter and now I cannot access the website at all from any of my devices. Called tech support, left message during business hours because no one answered. Still waiting on a call! Steer clear of this product. It is unreliable and apparently not supported by Amped. I don't have a solution to my signal improvement problem yet but I will update When I do.

I had a linksys wireless N that still works but i added an iphone 4s and wifi in my bedroom wasnt working but on my laptop i had 2 bars and good speed so i tried this amped smart router and it was easy to hook up and my laptop now gets 4 bars, so it is slightly stronger in range but i still cant get it strong enough for my phone to stay on wifi, it just cuts out to 3g so for basic use it does have a stronger range than any of the other routers i have used in the past. i have it at one end of the house and i need it at the opposite end of the house going threw two exterior walls so for most people this would be great if you just need a little extra range or not worried about an iphone which seems to be needing 2 or 3 bars which 3 is the strongest on the phone ... im guessing for me i would have to upgrade to a directional antenna or use a wifi repeater just for my phone

very happy with the wireless router, even more impressed with the customer service from amped wireless.

I had purchesed this on bestbuy.com. it was extremely easy to set up but i continually was kicked off the internet. I brought it back to the store and was told that it was no longer being sold there because of this problem. i relaced it with a netgear product (which was $20 cheaper at best buy) and have enjoyed uninterupted service.

After trying Netgear and not happy with that I tried this product which said good for 10000 sq. ft. Not so. Will not reach to other side of house which is 60 feet. Guess I will have to buy an extender.
