I was having problems with the wifi signal in my house for a while. I tried range extenders before but never really had much luck with them. Many of them seemed to have difficulty when it came to streaming or gaming. This range extender is great for both streaming and the xbox/ps4 but you need to find the perfect location and placement in your house which can be difficult. If your original router signal is weak this range extender will have a difficult time repeating the signal. It needs to be close enough to router to receive a good signal in order to repeat it. I had a difficult time finding the right location. Even now it's ok but I still have dead spots in the house. It was extremely easy to set up and I had it running in 5 minutes but I had to move it around several times in order to pick up main routers signal.

I have finally found a true range extender with great coverage. Through 3 or 4 dry walls over a distance of about 90 ft, this unit still gets a 72% reception for the 5GHz band. I think the two powered antennas really help. I have tried the D-Link DAP-1522 but it works only within the range of a bedroom. The UI is pretty straight forward. The menu provides a good range of setting options. Meanwhile, I think the price is a tad pricey because its price is comparable to a router such as the Asus RT-N66U. Nevertheless, if you are looking for an N-extender with long ranger, I would recommend this Amped Wireless SR20000G.

Easy to setup, just have to configure with another computer and hook up to it to configure, then make sure you upgrade the firmware, and then you can select your wifi and it does a wonderful job. I put this in a few of my clients and great to boost the signal and performance!

I've had it in place for a few weeks and so far, it has overall met my need with only a few, occasional hiccups. I had expected stronger signal on some devices that are within fairly close proximity, but again, those devices do seem to operate well over WIFI now, whereas before they did not.

I needed something to extend the home WIFI signal to an accessory that was located outside some distance from the router. We tried the type that is plugged into an outlet but could not get it to work properly. After installing this product we were able to operate this equipment properly.

Hi - We live in a brick home with Comcast Xfinity service. 184 Megs down / 50 Megs up. The standard router did not provide sufficient coverage. Installing this was simple and improved coverage significantly. Only 4 stars b/c the signal strength was approx 20/20. I would recommend.

My TV upstairs, away from the downstairs router did not get good reception so we added the extender. It works well at improving signal strength but no improvement for broadcasting video wirelessly. It did help the reception of my upstairs wireless computer.

I live in an area where satellite service is sketchy and it's a real challenge to get good internet connectivity in parts of the house; this product has removed those problems.

I live in an OLD house with plaster walls that kill my Wi-Fi signal. This range extender works well and I am able to have Wi-Fi throughout my whole home now.

This product works better than a regular router. But you must be mindful of where you place it it has to be in open air. Does not work as well if in a closet

It was relatively easy to setup, It has performed very well since then. No more dead spots in my home.

I purchased this because I was having problems recording when connected to my public Minecraft server. Anytime I logged into the server while I was in my recording room, the game would lag badly for me. But if I logged in from my living room I had no problems. Since I installed the wireless extender, I haven't had any problems. In fact, my laptop stays connected to the extender, even when I'm downstairs, and I don't get any lag at all.

Does the job. It works well on the 2.4; and ok on 5.0. It doesn't always pick up the 5.0, all in all this is a good extender

Easy set up - works great - I live in a loft with 24' ceilings & it sends a strong signal throughout my space with good security.

I had a dead spot in one room of my house (either from plumbing/appliances/whatever) no matter where I put my wireless router. I got this and no more dead spot. It was a bit tedious to set up, but it works AMAZINGLY!!! I had no idea how bad the wireless was actually working in this room until I got this. Highly recommend if you have a dead spot or just a poor connection spot (multiple drops/low bars)

This has done what no other has been able to do! Now I can get my music everywhere I go in the home.
