This happens constantly and makes listening to music require you to lay your phone down and not touch it or your headphone cord at all for fear of interruption. Basically unusable.

Stopped working after 1 month and caused power off

It is used occasionally when driving/taking calls on old ear buds. The pass-through charging port still works, but the 3.5mm port no longer works with my ear buds. The device is 'not support' message shows on my phone, but works fine when plugged into the jack of an older iPhone. Also my iPhone SE(2020) shut off once when unplugged from this adapter and did not want to turn back on; it was forced to turn on via Apple's procedure: volume up, volume down, hold power on button. This power issue happened 2 times when unplugged from this adapter. These two issues within a month -- worked great when it worked, used lightly and infrequently, but very expensive for this to be unusable.
