After looking at different brands, reviews and stores, so happy we bought this one! We bought it to buy bulk for our chest freezer, it’s been 3 months and still doing the job, we have stuff in there from 2 months ago and no freezer burn. It did take some practice using but after few times, easy peasy. You can use other bags (like food saver) as we have the large roll you can customize which is great.

We finally decided to buy a vacuum sealer and this one seemed to fit the bill for low cost, small footprint and quality brand name. We have not been disappointed. Works very well and it is easy to use with rolls or bags

The Anova is an upgrade from my previous vacuum sealer. I can't give it a full 5 stars as I don't feel like it seals as tight as I would like, but that's also a personal preference. It still seals properly. Pros: -Quiet -Size/weight -Easy to clean -Reasonably priced Cons: -Doesn't seal as tight as I personally would like -Would like a detachable cable.

For the price, this thing is a great addition to my kitchen. It's lacking (or I haven't figured out) a couple of features, such as the ability to hook up a vacuum hose to an accessory like a jar sealer, but you get that kind of thing when you spend more money. If you just want a compact, economical way to package food for storage or for use with an immersion cooker (sous vide), it's perfect. I went ahead and bought a couple of rolls of vacuum bags, instead of the pre-cut ones, and they work great!

Vacuum sealers don't last long at my house. I don't think I'm particularly rough with them. I just think the pumps suck and not in the good way. I spent over $200 on the last one and when it burnt out, so did I. I really didn't want to buy another one. Well then I got a sous vide and found out rather quickly that I needed another vacuum sealer... Since vacuum sealers don't last long at my house, I decided to go cheap and found this one on sale. At around 1/4 the price of my last one, why not. But I didn't expect much. What a pleasant surprise this machine has been. This thing has been a dream to use. The pump has been excellent and the sealer works great every time. I have had no problems with this machine and it's small size makes it easy to put away. I am happier with this machine than I was with the last 4 name brand units I had. For bags i went online and bought a couple different sized bulk packs of generic pre made bags. Easy and it cheap.

Cant get any easier to use. Small in size so it fits in any drawer, it is about the size of a box of zip-lock gallon bags so we keep ours in the drawer with those. So far we have had no seal breaks and it is nice that you can manually determine how much air to pull out or just have the machine auto detect and seal.

This is my 3rd purchase of a sealer. This works as good as the more expensive ones that have broken over the years. It fits perfectly in a kitchen drawer for me, making it easy to pull out and use for big or small jobs. I think I use it more because its so available. I dont have to keep it on the counter and i don't have to create storage space for a larger item. I'm happy with it and it is quick and easy to use. Its easy to clean as well.

I love it. I have a hand held that uses the resuable seal bags but those aren't all that great for larger items. This sealer lets me seal larger cuts of meat. It's very easy to use. I wish it was just a tiny bit shorter, but that's not a big deal.

Works great, its like the little sealer that could. It very compact and veryyy quiet. Reasons its not a 5 star: - The space to hold the bag to get the seal is pretty small - You have to wait 30 seconds between each seal (not fun for processing a deer) - You have to push down on the lid to lock it, meaning there is not level to press down for the seal.

Great for easily storing frozen food and marinating! Seal and vacuum all in one feature is amazing! Takes up very little space and works quickly!

Simple to use and not very noisy. Most vacuum sealers are noisy. This one seems quieter than most. It has a small foot print so you can leave it out if you have the space.

While all vacuum sealers pretty much serve the same function, this device from Anova does a great job for sous vide vacuum sealing in a super small footprint. What I really like about this vacuum sealer is the wide bag support and the ability to pulse and seal. With my previous sealer, it only had the option to vacuum and seal, which would end up having gross juices built up in the vacuum area. With the pulse function, I can control when the vacuuming stops, which has led to a much cleaner prep experience.

Works as expected, great value compared to other popular brands. Its compact, not bulky like other machines. Easy to use and clean.

Works like a charm, easy to use and compact. Good buy will never store again in the freezer in baggies. Never had one before so I can not compare to others. Now we stock up on meats. During Covid-19 we bought from Omaha steaks and defrosting per their instructions is just as good as buying fresh so we learn to package top quality meats that we buy locally at a much cheaper price. All our ripe fruit that we can no use up goes in the freezer and we use the pulse vacuum feature on soft fruits; great for smoothies.

The Anova Vacuum Sealer is very compact, lightweight, and easy to use. We are having so much fun using it by buying value packs of meat on sale and breaking the packages down into meal portions. We feel that this sealer will save us so much money and reduce our food waste. So glad we chose this particular sealer over all the others.

This sealer is great for having such a compact size! I’ve used this sealer for storing food in the freezer and for preparing ingredients for a sous vide. It works fine but you may want to buy up if you to freeze soups or other foods with even a small amount of liquid content. You can use the pulse button to seal saucy foods but you won’t be able to fully vacuum the air out. This works fine if you’re diligent.
