FANTASTIC!!! Loads of channels
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna was really easy to put together. Mounting on the roof was a snap, and I get so many broadcast channels with great picture quality! You just have to make sure you're pointing the antenna in the direction of the broadcast towers. I get so many more channels compared to the indoor antenna I was using.

Great Antenna
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mine is currently in the basement, and i get more channels than the small hd terk antenna I have upstairs. It was a pretty simple to put together, and I love the results.

Easy Installation and Set Up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was afraid that this wouldn't work. I have been reading about cutting the cord for 2 years. I finally did it. The antenna was easy to assembly and install. I have it installed in my garage attic. I get over 31 stations. Many repeats but that is ok. I am even getting stations that are over 100 degrees apart. I am not sure how that is working because this is a directional antenna. I know it has an operating range of 43 degrees. I have over 120 feet of cable with out a pre-amplifier. I really can't believe it works this well. I am very happy with this antenna.

Great cable beater
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was using a small indoor antenna and getting 12 stations. With this on the roof I get 22 stations, with 10 from over 70 miles away. Easy to install and cheaper than one month of cable.

Works Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The clarity of the picture is just as good if not better than cable connection - lots of channels available, both sound and picture are great.

Great Product, Wish I'd Disconnected Cable Sooner.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mounted the ClearStream 4V in my attic. I am located on a fairly high lot, plus my house is 2 story. I live about 50 miles from Richmond, VA and 35 miles from Norfolk, VA and get channels from both places. The antenna is directional so I have to sacrifice some picture strength to get the maximum number of channels. I am easily able to get about 40 channels. My cable run to my distribution (splitter box) is 100' so I installed the Channel Master Titan II preamplifier. Before installing the preamplifier my signal strength was in the 30-40 Percent range, with the amplifier my strengths are in the 80-100 percent range, with comparable signal qualities. My only issue now is intermittent interference which I think is cellular disruption (this is a big problem in Europe) so I have a LTE filter on order from Channel Master which may remedy this problem. My setup also includes a Channel Master DVR + and a 4 TB drive. The DVR gives you access to a large number of Internet TV channels and works great in conjunction with my ROKU 3. Plus the free programing guide is fantastic. The only problem with the guide is PBS channel programing details are not usually available.

Best HDTV ATSC Antenna Ive Ever Seen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have many antennas and have been struggling to pull in stations on my old Hauppauge hvr-2250 as it is somewhat a weak receiver, well I got this and let me just say I get 22 channels in all on 100% strength, that's all of my stations even remotely close to me. I mounted mine outside on the roof, didn't use their mount I pulled a DirecTV dish off and it had a pole left, modded the antenna brackets a bit and was able to mount it to the larger pole. pointed it in the general direction of the networks, used the already existing coax from the dish, removed the splitter and used a one to one connector to connect it to the jack in my computer room, I do believe this would work on 2 and even maybe 3 tvs with stronger receivers without even needing an amplified splitter. anyway is has been the best antenna out of the 20 or so I have including mohu leaf (poor) all the rca ones, poor, the radio shack amplified rabbit ears, ok, but this one I would have paid twice the amount for had I known how good it would work, not ideal for inside use as its big and ugly, the picture makes it look small but its only 6 inches shorter on width than my dish was, its pretty huge, could mount in attic ok, don't plan on putting it right next to your tv unless you are drilling holes and don't mine a huge ugly device inside. there is no other substitute if you are a cord cutter and plan to mount outside or in attic, they are not lying about the 70 miles at all, if I can get one at 40 miles to come in at 100% that's a pretty good idea, I have no others to test reception on, I even pick up a midway signal with errors for a station I have no clue where it even is, its not listed on the tv station locater map.

Very Good Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the third antenna that I tried. The first (different brand) was DOA. The second worked pretty well, but I'm about 65 miles from the transmission towers, so I ended up with quite a bit of pixelation...I installed this and am getting great results! If you go to the antennasdirect website and enter your zipcode they will list all of the towers within your area, and the direction the antenna should be pointed for best results...(have a compass or iPhone ready!) I did call support for advice on signal boosters and they were great to work with...even advised against a booster for my area!

FINALLY the government gives us something for free
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Catch 44 channels... most in 1080 with this bad boy. Antenna Helper app on the android market will be a life saver for you to know exactly where to point the antenna to find that sweat spot.

Best outdoor antenna in the market
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought an in door one got zero ch. called their hot line, was told my area is RED zone even outdoor one still hard. Read reviews on diff. sites, talked to experts, all directed to Clearstream 4V. Got great deal at Best Buy in Orange, Ca. (on line price matching). pointed to NE (towers are NE ,San Bernardino or NW, LA based on tower locater) got 30-40 useless cha. pointed to LA, same result. Trying for 2 days, same result, thinking of return for refund. A close friend happen to drop by, encouraged to try a bit more. Raised J post 4 f higher on 2x4 that attached to edge of 2 story house, got extra 10+ ch with NBC but freeze every few seconds. Run to Home Depot, grabbed 2-10 f poles, pointed to the same direction, did not get much better result. while climbed down ladder to get screw driver, the weight of antenna swirled the pole South (really) 30 degree off where tower supposed to be but surprise, TV didn't loose signal, I knew some thing was up, so I re-scaned, BINGO! 157 ch. In my day intalling Satelite, sometimes i had to point dish to next door house instead of the sky to catch signal that bounced off the wall, now my antenna is pointed to sea to catch signal that bounced off the blue water. To make story short, my area supposed to get limited ch. but now i have NBC, ABC, KTLA, PBS, BBC with crystal clear signal thst I can see the nose hair of weather man when closed-up.

Works no more cable bills ever!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On December 16, 2014 I made my purchase. I live in Martinez California. Now I will have to tell you I did buy a RCA brand first! That one was absolutely junk! I am getting 18 channels Fox and CBS and lots more. I put this in my attic. Not on the roof.

Incredible results!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using a 6 foot HD VHF/UHF name brand mast antenna mounted in my attic and have also been using a 30 db pre amplifier to get a marginal signal at best. I was able to get most channels from the tv broadcast towers 60 miles away but there was pixelization on a few. I decided to try this antenna after reading the reviews and watching a number of youtube videos. I am absolutely blown away at the signal levels I am now getting and I am NOT using the pre amplifier. I have this mounted in my attic where the previous antenna was mounted. The channels that were marginal are coming in strong and previous channels that didn't come in at all, are now coming and are rock solid. NO PIXELIZATION! I am thrilled with the results! I just wish I would have purchased this in the first place. I was apprehensive about buying this thinking it was not the kind of antenna I have used in the past and am use to, but I was wrong. Don't let the size or the appearance stop you. I can't reiterate enough how thrilled I am with the results. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Excellent Antenna
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First you need to make sure you know where your tower is by going to antenna.com and typing in your zip code . Then make sure you buy yourself a antenna booster . This will boost your signal 25db . I received 100 channels . So yes I am very satisfied . Also consider buying a tivo unit with this and you will be able to record all your programs and watch them at your leisure . Tivo has a 16.95 a month user fee . Much cheaper then cable . Enjoy.

It just works perfectly.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I cut the chord a few months ago and have been struggling to find and antenna that would work with a 50 miles radius. I've tried several indoor type powered antennas and the leaf type. All have been disappointing. Today I finally purchased this antenna that was recommended by a BB employee and was not disappointed. At first I was going to install outdoors but I decided to try it indoors by a window at my living room tv and was disappointed because I was not getting cbs abc and Fox and a bunch of other local channels. So I figured I try the attic before returning it. I installed this and an amplified rocket fish 4 way splitter with antenna facing towers and connected 4 tvs. All I can say is wow. Crystal clear with all my locals and their sub channels and a bunch of other random channels. I'm very happy as I can watch live local TV. Also I'm running my coax cable to a haupage tuner adapter direct to my Xbox one.

A big improvement over indoor antennas
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a couple other indoor antennas prior to buying this, and they worked about 90% of the time. As a result, some shows were just fine while others were unwatchable. I attached the ClearStream 4V to my satellite dish (that I no longer use) and now my reception is perfect 100% of the time. I live in a suburban area, so most of the channels broadcast from less than 15 miles away, but I have the antenna installed outside on the opposite side of the house from where the channels broadcast so my whole house is in the way. It looks a little funny attached to the satellite dish, but it's out of the way and I don't have to look at it very often. It gets the job done, and I'm able to watch all the local broadcast channels without any glitches.

WOW! More than i expected!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical at first. Less than 30 inches wide. I had a huge 8 foot vhf/uhf antenna on my roof. It finally died after a storm knocked it down. I set this up indoors, and only got a few channels. I live in a 2-story stucco house. First floor is concrete block, second floor is framing, with wire mesh and stucco on the outside, good at blocking signals. Once I set this up outside, I got 47 channels, including all of my networks, PBS and lots of locals! Extremely happy! Crystal-clear high def pictures! I would never have expected this out of such a low-profile antenna!

Easy setup, great reception
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After trying some smaller, flat antennas with nominal success, I am using this antenna to pull in stations from 50-55 miles away with no pixelation or stutter. I mounted this antenna in our attic about 30 feet above the ground. I didn't even have to use the mount. I just used zip ties to strap the antenna to a cross beam and then fished the cable through the wall. The entire process of assembly and fine-tuning probably took about an hour..

Great reception 48 miles from TV antenna farm
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Antenna constructed easily, not as big and bulky as the usual mast style antennae. Mounted on the roof to old antenna mount using old DISH HD coax along with a Channel Master VHF/UHF amp, picked up all local known channels at 48 miles from the source, signal strong and no breakup even when raining the next day! Cut out a $48/month DISH bill which gave only the basic channels and a bunch of advertising channels, that's 4 months for the whole setup to pay for itself!!! I'll be doing the same for 2 other friends at similar distances and plan to use this same setup!
