Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the ClearStream Micron Indoor Long-Range Digital TV Antenna's reception, picture quality, and ease of use. Many appreciate its ability to pick up a good number of channels and its relatively compact size. However, some customers found the signal strength inconsistent and a few felt the price was a bit high for the performance. The length of the included cable was also a point of concern for some users.

I live in an apartment roughly 18 miles away from the location of all of the tv towers in my area. Installation of the antenna was quick (one cable). My 9 year old tv had no issues tuning in the channels. I even picked up a few more that I didn't know were in the area. Small, unobtrusive and easy to use. Gets my vote. :)

I don't have cable, but I wanted to watch the Women's World Cup on Fox. So I bought this, and I got to watch the Women's World Cup on Fox. Just took one wire. And it was on sale to boot. Nothing to complain about. Works flawlessly for the one purpose it serves. Now if it would only dust the TV, too, I'd be overjoyed.

I needed a new indoor antenna for my 65" Big Screen. The other one I bought just didnt work as needed. I read the reviews on this antenna and all comments were favorable. Decided to try it. Gald I did. Straight out of thee box plugged it in and it immediately acquired all channels one at a time without having the re-do multiple times. Worked as expected and glad I bought this antenna.

I had a cheaper antenna that couldn't do the job unless it was in a window. This antenna is much better but it really does make a difference which direction it is facing. I get more OTA local channels than I knew existed.

Bought this for a non-cable TV in the house. This needs to be pointed directly towards you area's TV towers. This was difficult for me because the towers are north of my home and the TV was in the south facing room. I ended up running a cable through the house (in the basement) so that the antenna could face north to the tower. Now it works well. I get all the expected over the air channels. Find out where your towers and where this will be placed. If you can get it pointed at the towers it works great.

After trying several older style antennas I bought the Micron CMS-1. Was very happy with the superior reception. Only 1 problem channel and it was a vhf cbs affiliate. On the uhf side it was even pulling in 24 mile away towers. Must have 3 to 4 dozen channels now.

The antenna work really well, it provides the range in a large room that is required to be able to capture all the local channel one may want for free.

Great antenna for those who live on the perimeter of a metro area. I suggest a multi-directional antenna for those who are trying to receive broadcasts from many (more than two) directions (under 30mi.). A rotating directional long range antenna should be used for longer distances.

I bought this after having to return a cheaper antenna. I am using this instead of adding a cable box to a seldom used 2nd guest room. My advice is spend the extra money and buy something decent the first time. While the cheaper one was recommeded by an associate, the second time I went in a different associate said they would never recommend that cheaper unit in our environment (San Fernando Valley). The 2nd guy was correct. This was not the most expensive or powerful unit, but did the job more than adequately.

My antenna works well. I have several channels and they come in clearly. I am excited that I still can see the regular network channels even though I do not have cable or satelite.

It is super easy to set up and has a great receiver. It picks up a lot more channels than previous units tried. It is important to make sure to check how far you are from the broadcast station though, it's good but not a miracle worker. If you are more than 25 miles away I recommend getting a higher level unit, make sure to look for the units range before buying because it really makes a difference.

Make sure you go to their website PRIOR to purchasing. This will save you some of the hassle i went through. In my area, all of the stations are UHF, which this antenna is. Unfortunately, NBC in my area is VHF, and this requires stepping up to yet another model antenna. So, a trip to the site and talking with support ahead of time would have done me wonders. Signal is ok, but would probably don even better if it was outside a window. If I get the chance, I may try, but for now, ita ok and still cheaper than cable.

I bought this for my Mom who doesn't watch much TV and doesn't need or want cable TV. She was able to reduce her cable bill significantly by eliminating everything except internet and this antenna. She still gets all the major networks, as well as numerous free channels. Its a great option.
