If you are a fan of Slipknot then you will absolutely love this CD. If you enjoy hard rock and somehow do not know Slipknot it is worth a listen and will probably make you a fan.

My first SlipKnot purchase. Saw them at several Ozzfests years ago - very impressive! I have been a fan from a distance for many years. Just a bit too much of something for me to commit. Absolutely nothing wrong with the band per se. I would like to think I can appreciate any artist in any genre; though, some resonate with me more than others. With SlipKnot, I was on the fence. Then, thanks to a youtube mix, I was randomly provided with the video for "Before I Forget". That's it - I was committed! I love the video concept as well as the heavy groove. Anyway, I was thrilled to see this best-of compilation at Best Buy - so I picked it up. This album is probably optional for SlipKnot super fans who likely own all the songs from the original albums already, but nonetheless convenient for folks to get taste of SlipKnot in a single purchase.

This is a greatest hits album for Slipknot. If you are a fan, you probably have all of this music already. If you are just starting to dig them, this is the album to get. There are a couple of questionable track choices (live version of The Heretic Anthem and Purity. . . really?), but it's a solid greatest hits album all around.

Slipknot is considered "new metal", which in all fairness, they are. However, their talent far surpasses any other metal bands in their genre.

love the slipknot CD... play it really loud in the car... makes me feel like dancing....my friends enjoying the tunes with me

If you are a huge fan of slipknot. This is the album to get. My favorite song off of this record is Before I Forget.

If you love slipknot and don't want to get the entire collection this gives you a great sample of them.
