Don’t listen to the haters, don’t listen to the negative comments. Ppl love to trash EA games(BIOWARE,DICE,ETC). Most of the ppl complaining about these games probably haven’t even tried them. Anyways.....ANTHEM is a blast to play! So far 26 hrs in, gameplay and upgrading your javelin/weapons never gets old. Also you can spend a lot of time just applying shades and colors to your suit. This game has a way of making you feel like a super hero! Not sure how many ppl are actually playing ANTHEM but the XBOX ONE community feels very alive. TRY THIS GAME I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!

Dont listen to reviews, it was reviewed before the day one patch! All issues have been fixed. Anthem is as if Mass Effect, Destiny, Avatar & Ironman had a baby. Having lots of fun with this game, a definite buy!

If you love Destiny, this is Destiny + Iron Man combined. The best part is flying around and the graphics are awesome. The main story is short. They need more content which they will surely add. The current end game is a definite Grind. 4 Classes are cool and its nice you can use all your weapons/perks in between each Class. No need for extra grind of class specific stuff.

First of all stay away from the Legend of Dawn edition it's a ripoff. The unique weapon is no longer useful after a few hours of game play and you can buy better looking armor with the coins you earn through the in game merchant. This has to be one of the most stunning XBOX games I have ever played. But the amount of game play it takes to level up your character will become unbearable. Many of my friends that left Destiny 2 have returned due to the absolutely poor drops in Anthem. I played just a few days ago for 4 hours on Grand Master 1 and did not get anything I already had gotten a dozen times or more. Even on the higher Grand Master settings the rare drops are few and far between. Some posts say it may take 10-20 hours of game play to get an item you need. In short, if you love stunning graphics this is a must own. But if you hate grinding run away from this game!

This game got some tough reviews when it was first released. The developers must have fixed most of the bugs because it is a very enjoyable game. It is like a mix of Destiny, Titanfall and No Man’s Sky. This is good and bad. All are good games and mixing elements of all can be a little confusing. It takes some time to learn what your focus should be in the game. The open world I feel will continue to grow and this very well could become a classic like Destiny. Destiny got some negative reviews when it released and now Destiny 2 is one of the top games. The graphics are some of the best I’ve seen on my Xbox X. The worlds are so realistic is is a pleasure to just explore. Being able to jump and fly in your suits is way cool. I got the Legion of Dawn edition on sale for $32. If it goes on sale at this price, it is a bargain to add to your game library.

I like this game. It's not perfect but it is a good time. It's like being ironman with guns. The flying feels great! I'm sure they will update it in the future and make it even better. I would buy it again after spending time with it. Don't expect too much, just enjoy the game.

Thought I’d give this game a try given the amount of time since release. I was hoping all the bugs would be fixed. They aren’t. Playable for the most part, but will still randomly crash and exit to the main menu. I haven’t gotten too involved in the story yet, so the game play feels a bit hollow. When the game is running, the visuals are stunning and the controls are smooth. Just needs to have the bugs ironed out yet.

This is a game that was promising. With the greaty visuals and the great company behind it. Bioware. The game itself lacks so much content it feels like a demo. A glorified one with repetitive mission structure The game isn't very rewarding with loot either. Maybe there will be a fix so for the low price of $14.99 which I got it. Its a good value, also comes with the steelbook.

The beta had more glitches than the game of today. I can play for hours now and not experience game play issues. I've never played a game that didn't need patches. Cons first: It doesn't have "Borderlands type" dialog (my #1 co-op shooter). A lot of people aren't mic'd up. I completed 100% of the missions without vocal communication from other team members, but the game feels less like a "team effort". Also, with more team coordination the game would be more "tactical", and progression in the game would move at a faster pace. Pros: You have to play the game on "hard mode" to give weight to flying around and battling foes. That's what make this game really really fun. The weapons in the game feel amazing, and I don't believe one gun does it all. I'm using all the weapons, and the special abilities are awesome to use. The micro-transactions are a joke, and don't impact my game- play since you can make your suit unique by using thousands of color combos. Selling dropped guns and completing missions can produce coins that give you the ability to purchase items in the micro-transaction market. If you read reviews, they talk about the fact that once the glitches get resolved the game will be much better. At that time the game would be able to get to 4 stars but never 5.

I know this game is getting some negative reviews but I am loving it! The gameplay is great and just feels fun to play. The story is a little lacking for a Bioware game but for some reason it doesn't really bother me. I could care less about making connections with NPCs and instead just want to get out and fly my javelin.

I played for about 20 hrs. now and it's a great game. There are things that need to be fixed, but Bioware is working on it. So, it'll get better.

i know this game has been getting a lot of hate lately but its really a gem that needs u to see it for what it is and how great it can become. each mech that u get plays totally different from each other and and air to ground combat is the best ive ever seen in a game like this the content is not there just yet but its comeing .... if u gave destiny and the division a chance why not give this one a shot at least the grind is not as bad as the other two

Anthem is amazing...fantastic graphics, sound is really good, gunplay is tight...controls are smooth. Co-op game play works seamlessly and the classes compliment each other very well. It's a mix of a loot shooter and rpg lite and works great together. Loading screens are a tad long but will be addressed in future updates. An absolute must have in their shooter genre.

Amazing graphics but the story was really boring and repetitive. I was really looking forward to this game too.

Ok so there are a few things that could be tweaked or improved but they are constantly updating and exciting content on the way..I have played for about 32 hours. I could go on and on and on...but all I can say if you doubt it try it for 10 hrs with EA access you might be amazed...sure story is.not as deep as Bioware usually is but they already told you it would not be months ago.. lol..but at least there is a story.

Pre ordered after playing beta and it hasn't let me down yet. Mmorpg that continued to evolve as you play. Very cool

Great foundation for success. Gameplay is fun, but long loading time, bugs, and loot system makes the game feel like something is missing. EA and BioWare are working tirelessly to update the game, but until then, this game didn’t meet the expectations of most people.

It’s a fun game, if you don’t mind dealing with constant bugs that supposedly get updated almost daily, has long loading screens (which are supposedly fixed almost daily), and repetitive everything. There’s fun to be had, just be prepared to wait for it.

This much anticipated game is truly fun to play. The flight mechanics, gun play, enemies/bosses all feel good. There have been quite a few bugs, but BioWare is listening to the community, responding (being as transparent as possible), and squashing the bugs in a timely fashion. Good game IMO, and a rather large area to play with lots to do and find. Two thumbs up.
