Minus some of the glitches and bugs, I loved this game because of the theme and mechanics! You literally feel like Iron Man with a rifle which is super fun. Cutscenes are very enjoyable and the world design is very beautiful to be in.

This price nothing complain. I need to try something different.

I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about this game but I enjoy playing it with my husband. I really like the action and all the customization options it has. Flying in the air with my Javelin is pretty fun.

This game is a lot of fun! From flying around like iron man, to the combat and power abilities, it’s a blast to play. The story seems intriguing, if not a little hard to follow. There’s a lot of different names thrown around in the history of the world and enemies within it, so it’s tough to know who is who and what’s going on most of the time, but I’m loosely following along. They also don’t explain how to achieve objectives and challenges very well. The game suffers from lots of glitches, with moments of screen freezing and lost connections to servers. If the studio can fix these issues with patches, I would say it’s five stars! If you think that would bug you (pun intended) I would say wait another month or two for them to sort out some issues, then pick the game up. Overall its a fun game and worth taking a look at!

I got the game based on ads seen on TV and social media. The game is fun to play and is easy to learn and apply. The environments are huge and even on a regular ps4, are beautiful. It is a fresh break from the first person shooters out there. The main reason I am not giving it a 5 star, is due to limited story and content. It is a great story, but not very long for the marathon game. But over all to me, an average player, it is a solid addition to my library. I would recommend it.

Anthem could be a great game, the foundation is there. Ironman type, mech suited warriors who fly and fire off missiles and blast away with assorted weapons......but-- Its not. The shooting is good but the enemies are too few and too predictable. The flying is good but the world is boring and exploration tedious. The missions are all similar and while not awful, become boring by the 10th time you are defending a circle or retrieving machine parts. The characters are horribly written and the story so thin as to be still inexplicable at the end of the campaign. The end game is virtually nonexistent but with promises of more content....which have been delayed in order to fix the many bugs still causing performance and gameplay issues. So-- if you want to spend a few hours shooting bugs and flying around, maybe with friends. You will probably have fun for a couple hours.....and they still claim worthwhile additional content is coming in the future. But until Anthem comes together in a more fulfilling and polished way, id probably call it an "avoid" for all but the most hardcore of shooter fans. Or at least wait until the price is lowered a bit more. Even 30 bucks is probably too much for whats here. A HUGE missed opportunity. Disappointing is the appropriate word for Anthem. Id give it an underachieving- 574/1000

Athem is a good game overall. The game looks great and it's really fun. There is room for improvement. Most notably the long load screens. There's also too many glitches they need to patch. Since launch anthem has received several patches to address these issues. If you can get past that you'll find a fun game.

Bioware is my favorite developer, and this is a fun game, especially with friends. But it is my least favorite game from them since I love their lengthy single player campaigns they are known for, and story falls way short of their other games. But if you like looting, shooting and flying, this is worthwhile.

I know this game have been getting alot of hate with online reviews but I am really enjoying this game with friends. The graphics and world is A+, the shooting is fantastic, and I'm enjoying the story. There are alot of loading screens that I noticed and there are bugs still that is causing the game to log out or crash but the devs has been really active and is really listening to the community with updates. Don't listen to the reviews that are there to grab views and clicks. Watch game play and decide if it's a game you will enjoy.

Bought this for my 12 year old. He's your typical Fortnite gamer and he gives it the thumbs up. Graphics are great on our PS4 (not a PS4 PRO/4K) and seems fairly intuitive. I didn't see a lot of bloodshed for those of you wondering about that kind of thing. Bulk of the violence seems to be shooting mechanical creatures, which probably explains the T rating vs M. I've watched him play it multiple times and did not hear any offensive language either - again, for those of you concerned about that kind of thing. 4 stars because the overall game play does not have as good and immersive a story line as say the Drake's Uncharted line of games.

This game is fun but I think it was released early, they should’ve pushed it back a few months so they can fix the bugs and the matchmaking. The bugs has caused me to restart the application twice, and the matchmaking has caused me to enter games where their in the middle of the battle sometimes. Overall game is fun, graphics is amazing Especially in HDR. For $60, no. I say wait for a sale or at least when they release updates/patches to fix it. Probably be on sale by then too.

I got this for under $10, which is worth it to me as a game collector. I know this has not gotten good reviews but for the price, I couldn’t pass it. I think the game is fun even though the story is terrible. It takes a while to find something to do in this game but I like exploring in games. I want to try out online coop as that where this game might shine.

Pros: Graphically the game is beautiful, and the controls are fairly easy to use. The whole idea of running around a world in a mech suit is pretty awesome. Outfitting your mech with lots of different weapons is amazing, and being able to play between 4 different mechs is pretty awesome too. Cons: Glitches, and errors. I would load into a fight and enemies would continuously spawn. After 30 minutes of not making any kind of dent, and having numerous others backout, I eventually backed out of the gameplay myself and decided to go elsewhere. Also, there are times when the game would just error and the error report screen would pop up.

This game is like Destiny meets Superman lol! Pretty good game. The Gameplay is solid. Flying is awesome.. Tracking enemies takes a little getting used too. Mission load times feel a bit long sometimes or maybe I'm just impatient. The open world free-play is really cool too. The weapons and upgrades are awesome too. This is a good buy!

From a story perspective its not the greatest but it is quite fun. I understand it's EA so I feel partially the game is getting a lot of hate because of that but the game has potential and honestly with all the content that they will be releasing it seems like the game will get much better. I honestly think people should give it a try but it's pretty fun and engaging, could drag at moments but definitely fun.

The game is original and has pretty good graphics and content but there is a problem. It is a server based game and it seems that the servers will go down more times than is liked and then a notice will pop up saying for the player to check their connection, even though their connection is perfectly fine. If EA can get past those problems I believe it would indeed be a very good game.

After a week with the game i can say that i thoroughly enjoy the game mechanics. Combat play is engaging with fun traversal flight from one location to the next. Items earned from the missions always gives you something new to try for the next play and keep me coming back to see how i can custimize my character. Althought it does lack game modes it makes up im excellent gameplay.

Combat is great but loot needs work. Some bugs but they are patched quickly.

This game is a very fun game to play. The gameplay is like no other with flying combat. The story is good enough to engage you but I wish there were better options in the story as far as choice of how to interact with characters and what you choose to say. One thing the game is struggling with is lack of end game content and loot but that can all be fixed in the future.
