We have always purchased Samsung monitors for quality and aesthetics, but AOC has slowly been winning us over. This monitor in particular has quality and aesthetics, but is also an incredible value. This LED monitor is actually cheaper than many LCD's...and it looks great in the office as well. And at this price, you're not getting a budget brand; AOC was actually recommended to us by people who used to work in computer/electronics sales. The plug & play is reliable, never finicky (it's a desktop extending monitor, so it's plugged and unplugged every single day). One small but neat detail is the circular base, which allows you to more easily pivot the monitor to display its contents to someone across the desk from you than other monitors with oval or rectangular bases.

We needed a small LED monitor for general computing purposes. This one fit the bill. Great price and we're happy with it.

I use this monitor for my home office which is used 10-12 hours a day. My HP monitor finally burned out after 7 years. The HP required an install and screen resolution adjustments. This was easy, breezy. I mostly use it for emails and do not need audio since my tablet has audio and I also have my own personal HP Pavilion 23" desktop. If you are needing crisp resolution you may not be happy with this but it works for me. I also had to move around my tablet docking station to a not too convenient place on the side of my desk as the cables that come with this monitor 'assume' your source is within <2 feet away. I also searched for this model on the AOC website to look at support for how to use the multi-screen viewing but it states it is the wrong model number (copy and pasted right from Best Buy so I did not type it incorrectly. No instructions come with it on how to use the multi-screen viewing and the buttons below did nothing that I could tell. A one pager would have been helpful even though I love being paperless.

great price and couldn't find it cheaper, perfect to replace a broken office monitor

I have purchased several of these monitors for operator work stations. They have VESA 100mm mounts on the back and DVI input which most monitors for the price range this is in do not have. The only minor complaint I have is that if you are at a steep angle above the monitor the color looks less than exceptional, but you can still tell what you are doing.

My grandmother is 85. Didn't have a home computer so I put one together for her. The monitor was a piece that I needed to complete the set up. It was the deal of the day. Hey it works great, and gram has a computer. She's a new person. Except that her emails are pages and pages long.

Great resolution, very sharp picture, high value for the money

Work would not provide docking base so I could run dual monitor's at home (like at work# so I purchased a docking base #ebay) and had to get new monitor's. While I was used to the square boxy kind, new technology has surpassed me, So these were the cheapest I could find and I couldn't be happier. They can be split into 4 screens on one monitor, but I can't run this software on my work laptop, but if you just wanted the one monitor and you can run the software, just try one.

I have spent a lot of time peering at a lot of different monitors and this is by far the worst one ever. I saw one bad review that said you need to be color-blind to look at this and not cringe, but it's not the colors - it's overall just bad. the screen looks completely washed out - and that is with the brightness down to 20%. contrast and sharpness (which i couldn't find) do not help. Colors are not vibrant at all and if you are not looking at the monitor straight on (like, if you are at the slightest angle), it is either washed out (even more than normal) or tinted green. i played with all the levels as best i could, but I could not find a satisfactory viewing experience. in fact, for the first day, every time i went to the computer, i rubbed my eyes thinking i was tired and having a hard time focusing - but no, it's just the monitor. i gave it a few days; but i just cannot get used to how bad it looks. I am returning this and trying something else. this is exactly what happens when you go with a cheap no-name brand. first and last time doing so.

It's an ok monitor, I would not recommend it if you're going to use it for more then 2-3 hours a day

I actually bought two of them for a dual monitor configuration. They were easy to set up and have nice menus for tweaking the display. I like the brushed effect on the bezels. The color and contrast are really good, especially considering I have a middle of the road type displa adapter.
