easy to set up, peace of mind when it comes to power surges and cheap.

This little think just quietly does its job until you hear a sharp sounds telling you that it just saved you from losing the report you spent all day writing.

I run an IT business from my home that requires me to have guaranteed up time while doing client configuration. This is a God Send since literally 2 days after I bought it, I had a power outage. This Kept me running for 15 minutes and prevented any work delays or embarrassment. I love this!

I bought this item for our router, modem and phone system as we occasionally experience power failures and need the phone system running. This device is small enough to sit on the desk. Set up was very simple. It has worked well with no problems noted. The only downside is that the power sockets are so close together that the adapter block can extend over an adjacent socket.

Purchased to replace a battery backup which failed. The feature of a replaceable battery and features for the price sold me onthis product.

I've purchased multiple of these battery backups and they have always worked great and for a few years minimum. Normally replacing them seemed easier than getting new batteries because of the cost. They are inexpensive and suitable for a desktop workstation. Software is available to monitor the backup and shut down PC in the event of a power loss.

To be honest, I almost always forget how much tech I have at home until there's a random rolling brownout and my cable modem and router blink out. It's been a long time coming but I finally wanted to invest in some preventative tech maintenance. This particular model was affordable and had good ratings. Better safe than sorry. So far so good.

The APC - Back-UPS 450VA is affordable and is wonderful for the short electrical outages the cause your electronic devices to shut down.

We use battery backups on all of the computers in our office in case of power outages or surges. Our IP phones and computers get plugged into the battery back-up side (3 outlets) and any thing else gets plugged into the surge protection side. have not had a problem with one yet. Product beeps to let you know the battery backup is in use.

This item is big, so make sure you have the space for it. Plugged router and modem into in-case power goes out we will still have internet for handheld devices and laptops for a brief time. Power hasn't went out yet and haven't unplugged to test. Using as surge protector for other devices as well, but not plugged into battery backup side.

it works as expected. Be careful because some of these battery back ups have sat around and the batteries get old but not this one.

This is a good battery backup/surge protector. Plenty of outlets for the typical home computer/home office. Good standby battery time. Only lacking usb connection and shutdown software like my previous backup had.

A great piece of safety equipment. This electrical box HELPS to ensure that electronic equipment is not damaged if there is an electrical power surge. It also saves the homeowner money because of the replaceable batteries that are used as backups to the power source; they can be replaced at a nominal cost.

My computer guy recommended this to me and he was not wrong. Works great and gives you a sense of security with your electronics.

I think they're all pretty similar but the battery life isn't that long in my opinion. But dues its job. Just a tool to me.

I use several of these units in a restaurant application for power backup on point of sale terminals. Never had any problems.

I use this for a mobile laptop/network setup that's normally powered by a generator. Perfect for the potential blackouts

I've had this for 3 months and it works as advertised. Haven't connected it to my DSL yet but mine at work is great.

I have many blackouts in my area so the APC helps by keeping the computer on until I am able to shut down properly.
