It has not failed me as power outages happen often here. It keeps the internet and VOIP phone going for just under an hour.

I've had electronics hit by power surges. I've lost work from sudden power outages. This really does the job to protect you from all that!

If you need a battery backup, this is the one to get. There are competitors out there at a lower price point but these have never failed me.

Open the box, read the instructions and done. Now I don't have to worry about power surges or outages. You're crazy not to have one of these.

I have used APC backup/ups in several models for over 30 years. They are great. They last many years, they are reliable, their warranty is great (if you should ever need it). They also make batteries for replacement of old ones after years of use (should you ever need one). I wouldn't use anything else. I have used them on many systems over the years with regrets.

Have had a few power interuptions and total power failures. Battery backup work just great. The audible is quite loud.

Was very easy to figure out what and where to plug in. Have to wait until there are multiple power surges to know if it performs well.

Does what it says. I like that it is simple and doesn't have bright flashy things. Example is, another UPS I own has a giant light up on/off button, which is begging to be pressed by my 3 year old. That is the primary reason why I bought this one, plus it's a horizontal unit, so no worries about a 15 pound UPS smashing fingers / toes.

2nd one I own. First lasted 9 years before an electrical surge finally burned it out. No issues and more affordable than other models

Stable, long life and awesome MFR coverage! What else can I say? APC is the best on the market and Cyber Power is cheap not only price wise but also cheap with the batter and the internal electronics. The Cyber Power is way lighter than APC. That should tell you all you need to know about that brand. It's junk, whereas APC is the best.

Great for peace of mind in the case you are working furiously on something and that inevitable brown out or power outage happens along. Came recommended from folks who do live event video as the only way they can handle sites when on a generator. Would be nice if it had a line conditioner (I'm a producer & DJ) for recording but I knew this going in. I could see this being a necessity for home office or small business users or folks that have expensive electronics that they want to make sure doesn't get fried in a storm.

This power supply allows for a proper shutdown of devices it is connected to. I utilize this supply to power my server. It provides stable power and decreases the number of momentary cycling cause but quick power interruptions. This particular device provides approximately 5-8 minutes of back-up power to shut the system down. This also can power the cable modem for up to 30 minutes to allow cell devices to utilize Wi-Fi to investigate power outages and report them to power company.

I use UPS as insurance and these are great to provide peace of mind that with power outage there is plenty of time to shut down.

Not long after purchasing this we had a power outage. Able to safely save work and shut down without any damage to computer.

MY OLD POWER SUPPLY WENT BELLY UP AFTER MANY YEARS OF SERVICE. I FOUND THIS NEWER MODEL AT A GREAT PRICE AND I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER.

Use this for my broadband modem, router, and security system. Keeps Internet and security system running during power outages.
