Haven't had an outage yet but if this APC is like the others I've used, shouldn't have any problems.

Great battery backup; no communication cable to install PowerChute or run it; only network filtering.

Easy to set up and forget it..it has been working just great for about a year now. It has protected my computer , wifi router and Internet modem thru seversl electrical power loses. Just check the led light once and awhile to make sure it is on. I would buy it again.

We'be always had power fluctuations and had a sound card blown out plus, a prosessor on my old computer. So when I bought a new one, I purchased a battery system. I've purchased several computers since then and have never gone without a back-up A PC. Excellent protection for your investment!

I got this because I was tired of losing my DVR program guide information. Even though I have a whole-house, automatic backup generator, it takes 5 to 8 seconds to kick in and power the house when we get one of our frequent power outages. In those few seconds, our DVR loses all its stored program information and doesn't know when a show that I want to record will come on -- and it takes a few days for it to accumulate or restore the guide. So I got this small UPS just to cover the under 10 second power outage, and it seems to do the job. We had a power outage just a week after I bought this, and the DVR didn't lose the guide data.

I purchased this for my new Netgear 5300 router. I am so glad that I did because I found out the outlet experiences a brown-out when I start the vacuum cleaner. So now I use a different outlet so the UPS doesn't beep. I care about my electronic devices and want to control when they reboot - not reboot every time the power flickers. No idea how long it will last, but since this was on sale for $27, I had to grab it.

Needed to replace a defective battery backup and saw this item on sale. It provides sufficient time to perform a controlled shutdown should your power be interrupted.

I am the proud owner who is relieved because I no longer have to worry about power surges.

The unit should keep my router from losing it's brains when the power fluctuates. It is easy to get different plug power cube connected as well as network connections.

It works great, was reasonably priced, delivered early and we are happy with our purchase.
