No problem with this UPS, easy setup, works exactly as it should. Power alert buzzer is not annoyingly loud and easily quieted with a push of a button. Highly recommended for a home back-up system for your equipment.

You can spend less money for a battery back up, but you won't get the quality and features like this one. Easy to install, easy to download the extra features so you can program and monitor the perfrojmance of the back up and how it is protecting your goodies. It's slim, sleek good looking product with digital read out features on the back up itself, plus on your comutoer screen. I think you will be satisfied.

This unit by APC is very well made and rock solid. The features are un-Matched by any other on the market. It has preformed flawlessly the three times we lost power, from a few seconds to several minutes over the past few months. Previously to installing this unit I would lose data on a regular basis. Now I do not have to worry at all. I only power my CPU tower to extend run time to it's maximum, so I may shutdown safely, when or if the need may arise.

This Battery Backup packs enough power for all your electronics in case of power outages or surges. I use this with my video game systems, tv, cable modem and wireless router. It will give you plenty of time to get to a save point in a game and shutdown. About 15 to 20 minutes of run time with the power load I connected to the unit. I just wish there was a bit more space between the plugs.

I have had APC back-UPS before but recently purchased a new security system and wanted to make sure it was still operational for some time after a power outage and also for protection from surges. After extensive reviews from several sites and from the company itself I ended up buying two APC's. One each BR1300G and BX1300G. There is not a lot of differences between the two other than total time running on battery. Not even a week after I purchased these and had them operational we had a storm blow thru taking the power out for a short time. It was nice being able to see that the system was still recording an hour after the power had gone out. It ran for just over an hour with the load I had on them though they were not full loads that is the choice I wanted. One for the DVR security system and the other for the Network internet. Having the smaller UPS system on the computers is a plus also as it was nice to actually go online even after the power went out being each system was running on battery power. You can't go wrong with having battery back-ups around. There a step above the surge protectors.

I just purchased the ACD and have given it 5 stars now because 1) it has done exactly what it says it will do and 2) I got good immediate help from tech support when I called. c) price was good and got good service from Best buy when it was discounted on-line but not in the store, they still gave me the discount. I have never used one before so can't compare it to others.

I love this battery back-up. It's one of three I own. Most of the time we just think a surge protector will do the job and 95% of the time it will, but it's those high end items you may want to consider a battery back-up for instead. I lost a TV in a recent storm that was only on a surge protector thinking it would be OK. It wasn't. The items I had on the battery back-up worked per usual. I purchased this backup for a security camera system to continue to run for a bit after power outage. I was amazed it to see it still running after 50 minutes though the only thing I had on this backup was the camera DVR. Another great thing about these is that you can hook up your internet thru them and it's nice to be able to keep your WIFI running for an extra hour which is nice when you want to check up on progress of power outages online. They are in my opinion a must have for those high end items or things you don't want to shut down immediately when the power goes out.

I've been a huge supporter of APC where I work for providing quality battery backup products. I purchased this one on sale to protect my home office and the UPS is perfect. I put quite a load on this thing from my computer, to all my networking equipment and printer, and it still provides 20 min of battery run-time if the power goes out. Lots of great features and ample plugs to connect all of your powered devices. It also conditions the power coming into the UPS and provides good clean power to all the devices plugged into it. Well worth the money to protect the home office and APC provides a 3 year warranty and surge protection. Highly recommend this product.

With all the storms and brown outs in Florida, this has saved my butt a few times already. I have a virtual server at home and this keeps it online and running smoothly during our stormy season.

Two days after assembling a $5000 computer was a cold night. Everyone in the neighborhood cranked on their heaters for the first time of the season. The power was surging browning out and briefly blacked out. Then it was surging again coming back on. So this thing might of saved a $5000 investment and easily paid for itself many times over in just 2 days of being hooked up. Has surge and back ups. Flip the battery before attempting charging though as per the instructions. The mute on the alarm is an appreciated feature as well. An UPS is a must have and this ones form and features do quite well.

The APC Back UP UPS XS 1300 VA Tower was a replacement for a much smaller one that failed after many years. The Tower is narrow and fits along a wall out of the way and had plenty of power when we experience power failures of great durations (2-4 hours). The display lets you know just how much power you have and unlike many that have an annoying beeping sound when the power fails, this has a suttle audio reminder that can be silenced if you wish. Feel confident purchasing this unit as your back up power supply.

This is a must for setting up your computer or work station. I've had problems before with some of the smaller UPS units but this one has been serving me really well even with a couple power problems I am always still able to keep working. I got this because in the past I had problems when the power went out and my old UPS died and I lost everything that I was working on.

I was using APC 1500VA UPS for probably a decade and it just died. It was supporting in-store sales server. I am very happy with APC and so I just got another one. Too bad that they don't carry more powerful UPS in-store. The max I could get was 1300VA APC or 1500VA some other brand. So I got the 1300VA for this time, should be good enough to support 2 PCs

APC - Back-UPS XS 1300, I've been using APC battery backups to power several computer work stations without any issues. System works great and has informative information on the display. I wish the outlets were spaced out a little more but this is a minor issue for me.

I bought my previous UPS at a CompUSA liquidation sale in 2005 and it died in late 2014. So, I replaced it with a bigger APC UPS, and it has worked great. If I get another 9 years out of it, I'll be very satisfied.

Easy and simple to setup straight out of the box. Just reverse the internal batteries to activate the connection and the computer automatically detects the unit. APC might be a little more expensive, but I've always felt they're the standard to compare others to.

Not terribly cheap or exciting, but absolutely vital. I lost valuable information when my last UPS failed. This APC has already proven itself. The display is reassuring and the software useful.

Both of my saltwater fishtank pumps are powered through this. Lasts long enough that even id the power went out while at work I would not have to come home to deal with it and the fish would still have circulation for the entire working day (7-5).

I bought this device to protect a small rack of networking equipment. 2X Cisco SG300-52P switches and Comcast Edgewater gateway for VoIP phones. So far it is working well and has survived several storms while keeping the network up and running.
