What a phenomenal 4K! Picture is outstanding and audio is impeccable

Good movie with a great cast and Ron Howard directing really can't go wrong. 4K remaster and DTSX audio track.

The last time I watched this movie was on VHS on a 720p TV. I watched this 4K disk on my Sony A9G OLED TV and it looked stunning. The color and details from this 4K disk amps the experience much more than just watching a great movie again. IMHO, Apollo 13 in 4K is a must have in your movie collection.

I have never owned the movie until now, and what a treat this is. I have seen the movie obviously but this is the first time seeing it in 4K. Wow... looks and sounds better than it ever has. I’m glad I waited to pick this up because now I have the movie in it’s best possible format and a awesome looking SteelBook as well.

Honestly already owned the 25th anniversary blu-ray and really doesn't add much in 4K. But the case is beautiful! Truly a must buy. Great movie in a great package!

The Apollo 13 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray dvd is has excellent video quality and the price is very reasonable. I have many dvd's and find that the 4K versions are well worth the additional cost. Thanks Best Buy.

Great movie and the technical details pop out. I have seen this movie in the past and thought it was great. When I watched it in 4K the picture was unbelievable. It makes me want to purchase other 4K movies and replace the Blu-ray copies that I own. I have recommended this format to everyone!

What can I say Ron Howard hit this one out the park. Tom Hanks and ALL the actors made me feel I was there riding the crippled spacecraft along with the real astronauts. I have the movie on VHS, DVD, BLU RAY, & now on UHD 4K BLU RAY. I do recommend!

With the new 4K version, this is a wonderful looking movie. The story is one of the best ever and the Dolby Atmos track certainly adds to the movie. A 10/10 A must see!

This is my go to let’s test your home theater disc. The launch sequence is brilliant and bone rattling. Genius acting and direction. One of my top five favorite movies.

This disc provided one of those surprisingly great home theater experiences. The picture may be just a notch below reference, but the DTS:X sound is terrific. I also didn't expect the film to hold up as well as it has, having been made with few frills and even fewer deviations from reality. Give it a go, and you'll be pleased.

very impressive version of historical events that brings to live a lot of unknown facts. Acting is very good and you get caught up in the story

A great movie that encapsulates the gravity of the situation perfectly and gives you a small window into what these astronauts went through. The 4k version looks sharp, but the audio is where this film shines. The special features are okay, nothing new compared to previous releases.

It's an older movie now, but that doesn't mean HDR and 4k aren't awesome additions. You essentially get better-than-cinema quality, with much improved black levels and colors. HDR isn't as in-your-face as new movies, but it's still pretty awesome when it comes up in some of the space scenes. Soundtrack is amazing with a good surround sound system. It's the definitive copy, there are plenty of extras for those interested in the making of and such!

Managed to pick this 4K up in store for $15. Quite the deal. Great presentation for both BluRay and 4K.

Love it! One of the best movies ever made in my book, now in beautiful 4K HDR!

This is a great movie about space exploration that really places you in the middle of the turmoil that unfolds after the Apollo 13 craft suffers multiple failures. 4k is amazing, makes the picture look like it was released yesterday. The sound was awesome with a greats dtsx soundtrack. This is the type of movie that excels with the muse of the overhead sounds.

To start, I own the VHS, DVD, HD-DVD and now Ultra 4k versions of this film. It's one of 3 - 4 movies that I watch at least once a year. I just enjoy the movie. A bag of popcorn, maybe a hot dog, a soda and the couch and I'm good. The 4k version is awesome and the audio is unreal. I love having the theater experience at home.

This movie was without a doubt entertaining, great story from out past, great dialog, and the level of humor is perfect! The visuals are stunning, the updated sound track is perfection. This is still one of my favorite space related movies of all time! Highly recommend!
