In love with my Apollo Go!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having owned four other scooter brands in the past, I can confidently say the Apollo Go is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a powerful yet portable unit. It comes equipped with dual motors and electronic brakes that require minimal maintenance, all housed in a beautifully designed chassis. One of my favorite features is the 360-degree lighting system, which includes turn signals, rear lights, and a super bright front LED bar. This ensures you can clearly see the road ahead while also making you visible to other vehicles and drivers. When comparing other scooters on the market, the price-to-quality ratio of the Apollo Go is unmatched.

Comfort and beauty, the GO has it!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've bought my GO about a month ago and I couldn't be happier. This is my first scooter with suspension and I love it. It is so comfortable to ride on and the Apollo GO is gorgeous, it is a beautiful scooter. Apollo also has a reward program called AMPs and it gives you points for riding as well... I like it. Top-Notch.

Smoothest scooter ive had
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super smooth, just enough power and range for me, 25 mile avg range, at avg 18 mph, i can get 45 mile range just using gear 1, 8 mph if im cruising on the boardwalks of San Diego. I can get about 18-20 miles mostly full throttle. Lights are the best for any scooter when it comes to night riding. Charges in about 3 hours from empty

Lexus of electric scooters. Hands down
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The compact and lightweight design, combined with the easy foldability, makes it convenient to store in your car trunk. With a comfortable range of around 18 miles at moderate speeds, it’s ideal for your short commute. The bright light bar is a fantastic feature for visibility during night rides, adding an extra layer of safety. I hit a top speed of 27 mph, although it does trade off some battery life. But overall, it seems like a well-rounded scooter, combining style, functionality, and a smooth app experience. I am considering the Phantom 2.0 in the future. Apollo really does stand out as the “Lexus of electric scooters!”

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Apollo go is an excellent scooter. The build quality the portability and it rides smooth and it floats like you're on a cloud. Just wish I could get a little bit more range out of it. Excellent lighting for night.

Love & Hate
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are 6 Apollo scooters in my family, the last one I purchased was the Apollo Go,I would say its like 2 1/2 months old with less than 25 miles if that, caught a flat and the back tire screws(both sides)are seized in the motor and I’m still going back-and-forth with Apollo about getting a new scooter. I mean they sent a video of using a Dremel to cut the screws seriously !!!! I did….now its worse and looks horrible….Lucky 4 them the company isn’t located in my area.I don’t have $1200+tax too just throw away. And no scooter shop in Atlanta will touch it because the screws & that type of cutting is dangerous around the motor because of damaging more parts

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, i have written 3 different commute scooter brands such as NIU and segway. I also did a lot of research prior transitioning from Segway Max G2 to this Apollo Go. Although my first Apollo Go was faulty due to constant squeaking of the front and rear (despite contacting apollo customer support with no improvement), bestbuy was very nice to help me do an exchange. The replacement Apollo Go is working as it should and I can say I love this scooter more and more each day. Below is my comparison between Segway Max G2 and Apollo Go. Apollo Go Pros: high ground clearance, so this makes up for the 9 inch tire. Smooth regen brakes and very smooth throttle for acceleration. Excellent battery range I get 18-20 miles per charge (depends to how I ride really). Clean sleek design, probably the best I've seen. Quiet rotors. UL2272 certified but I will never charge it when no one is home or overnight. Can really get up to 26mph on the flat for me. Climbs nyc hills easily. Perfect handlebar length for me. Stable and smooth no matter the speed. Same battery size as Segway yet outperform it in speed and range. Apollo Go Cons: takes forever to charge with standard battery. Narrow deck. Not the best suspensions but it has been great for nyc. The blinkers need to be brighter. The app lacks functionality; can’t really customize too much compared to Segway. Segway G2 max Pros: 10 inch tires. Wide deck. Best front hydraulic suspension. Rear adjustable spring suspensions also as good. Segway app has lots of features and stats to look at. Build quality is top-notch. Segway G2 max Cons: when headlight is not used, the rear light is also off. Battery range is very off; I ride at max Sport speed with half acceleration setting and I get about 15-16 miles range (advertised to get 25mi at max speed theoretical range). Heavy at 53 lbs. Slows down when under 50% battery remaining. Handlebar too long and skinny for me and makes it a bit unstable when going high speed. Awkward fold-down latch and angle. Bulky for car's trunk.

One of the best
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought my 2nd (after 3 weeks with the 1st one) and is a really good scooter. I sold my GX1 (to heavy and dangerous for me, although is a really fun one) in order to buy my 2nd one (the 1st one is my Gf's). So, the regenerative breaking is amazing... the suspension could be better for the price, but you have the City to go on that level (but my comparisson is with the GX1 since was my previous one). It goes really fast, though the torque is not going to be the strogest but it doesnt pretend to be the fastest. Its really fun to drive as I´ve been using it as my commutte, but if you have the cash, the space and you dont have the carry / lift it not even 1 time per day, then I´d buy the City without hesitation, since I think fir the price It really worth it. Im not giving it 5 stars, since the handling bar is just a slightly loose and the suspension is sqeaking from the very beggining. Would I buy it again? I just did it...

Almost Perfect - More Apollo Options Needed!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Apollo - Go 2024 Premium Dual-Motor Electric Scooter in Space Gray is an impressive piece of technology. It boasts a powerful dual-motor system that delivers a thrilling top speed of 28 mph, making it perfect for those who crave speed and excitement in their daily commutes or leisurely rides. The build quality is excellent, and the sleek Space Gray finish gives it a modern and stylish appearance. One of the standout features of this scooter is its 40-mile maximum operating range. While this is quite impressive for many users, it may fall short for those who need to travel longer distances. For longer commutes or extended trips, this range might require more frequent recharging stops, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, I find it inconvenient that you have to buy a separate phone case to mount directions to the device. An integrated solution for navigation would have been a more user-friendly feature, enhancing the overall riding experience. I wish Apollo's other longer-range options were available for sale on Best Buy. Having access to models with extended ranges would make this brand an even more attractive option for those who require greater distance capabilities without compromising on speed and performance. Nonetheless, the Apollo - Go 2024 remains a top-tier choice for electric scooters, combining power, style, and quality in a highly appealing package.

Go, Go, Gadget, Go!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely worth it getting, if you're looking for a fast commuting scooter, that doesn't weight a ton. It's easy to operate, and comfortable even on NYC streets. The front stem light seem bright enough to get peoples attention. If there was one thing I could change, it will be having a bigger battery, but would change the weight. So as it is, work for those quick trips, without lugging a super heavy scooters up stairs and small enough hide at work while charging.

Excellent scooter for comuters
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in New York and wanted something that could transport me from the upper east side up to washington heights, a trip that would take me around 1 hour with the subway. I decided to go for the Apollo Go, it had all the features I needed. It is fast, has a nice battery, good function and strong electric motors. The trip takes around 30 mintures and it has roughly 50% left of the battery. I'm really happy with this scooter! Only down sides is that the default charger is not super fast. But you can buy a fast charger.

Bumpy ride
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My previous scooter experience was on rentals, the Lime in particular, but I bought the 2024 Apollo Go. Go is faster & quicker than the 2024 Lime, but the Lime is smoother, more comfortable, and more stable. The Go wheels are tiny for portability, but it’s a bumpy ride and not very comfortable. The wheels take literally five strokes from the Joe Blow bike pump. The Go won’t fit in my WRX sedan trunk, unless I leave the trunk open. It’s very tight. The Go fits in the back seat of my car but it takes the full length of the seat. I’m not sure if the City or Klima would fit on the back seat. The Go fits easily in our Impreza hatchback, and it could easily hold two The deck of the Go is a bit cramped and I find myself shifting my feet around frequently on a one hour ride. The Go climbs small hills well, and large hills slowly. I live in the mountains. Battery drains quickly for 195 pound rider at mostly full speed, but it lasts a long time at more comfortable speeds. Dot Matrix display needs trip odometer and clock. Definitely room for improvement on the display. I don’t like it. Quad phone mount is useful but I don’t like fiddling with my phone. Excellent production quality & shipping Unit arrived from Best Buy in two days, perfect shape Very good help desk response over text & email Good printed documentation for setup Decent smart phone app for settings, but could be simplified. Good assembly video on YouTube. Easy & exciting setup. I never want to be a scooter mechanic and Paul @Electric Scooter Review scored the Go 9.2 out of 10 for maintenance. This was a big factor in my purchase. I like the scooter but wish for longer range and a smoother ride, without sacrificing portability. I want it all! Now I’m thinking I’d go with electric bikes if I had the choice again.

Probably my best scooter purchase to date
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Rides well, its a little weighty, but it helps with the balance, not to mention the much needed suspension for riding the cracked out roads in the city. I appreciate that the app makes the scooter customizable, but doesnt make it completely necessary to use with it. Its great that it can go 30mph, but i value my life, and the app makes it possible for me to set its speed limit to 21mph.

You will not get 28 mph.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You will not get 28 mph out of this. I hear the practice of flat lying about that is rampant with all scooter companies which is a shame. I can't even get that going downhill. Flat surface its like 25 mph, 20 average uphill, 27 downhill. I'm only 180 lb and those numbers are when the temperature outside was 72 ish. Everything else about the scooter is great but if I were you, I'd just get one for half the price and a max of 22-25 mph.

A seriously PREMIUM scooter!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I searched a long time to find a premium quality scooter with great features, a solid app, and a nice balance between speed, portability, and range. This scooter hits all of those points. The a uality is fantastic! It also uses the latest battery technology with 21700 cells. I know premium is in the name and sometimes companies use that incorrectly, but this is seriously a premium scooter. It screams premium from the packaging, unboxing, and the actual ride and material choices. This scooter is actually a better value than the Apollo City scooter as it’s newer, can go 1 mile farther, and only 6 miles slower. The suspension on this is just as good as the Apollo City as well. You can’t go wrong with it, pick one up today!

Who’s responsible?
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great scooter quality build and performance. For that experience I’d give it 5-Stars. For Maintenance and Servicing I’d give it 1-Star. The Apollo site lets you create and account and track your miles but they will not provide any kind of support without it being purchased directly from Apollo on their site. Attempted to reach out to them and the only possible way to get in contact is through email or video chat BUT you must provide an Order Number of purchase only provided through the Apollo site. This means Best Buy won’t service it and neither will Apollo under Warranty. Scooter has a warranty but there’s no way to fulfill that warranty without an Order Number. When purchased through Best Buy they provide replacement parts and tools in the box and that’s it. The tools are very cheaply made and I’d attribute the difficulty for maintenance and repair to the cheap tools and parts on the unit. My issues began to arise when I needed to replace my tire from a simple puncture. I’ve replaced tires on my car on my own without issue and I am experienced with tools and repair as I work as a tech with tools on a daily basis. Communication with the manufacturer should be easy and straightforward. I’d be concerned to purchase this unit from Best Buy as the promises the company makes regarding the warranty aren’t actually fulfillable when the customer attempts to use those protections. I’d recommend if you were to actually want to purchase one of these scooters, maybe purchase it directly through the manufacturer or else the warranty might not be something you could actually use.
