      Great use but not a keep there is other ways to transfer data without thus cord but if you got the money then why not try it

      I bought this to transfer my files from my old 2010 MBP to my new one and I couldn't get them to talk using this cable. I ended up having to do it over wifi which meant I had to leave them up and running overnight because it took so long. I also thought the length would be sufficient since they would be in close proximity to each other, but that proved to be cumbersome as well and I kept finding myself wishing that I had bought a longer cable (if it was gonna work in the first place).

      Somewhat disappointed that I was unable to get an Apple cord and had to buy a non-Apple product. You would think Best Buy would maintain better stock on standard items.
