It set up quickly & while it isn't a "pro" or "air" model, in my opinion is the right model for probably 80-90% or people. You could almost replace a laptop with this iPad. Just get a keyboard & you can do almost everything most people do with a laptop!

I've only had it a week or so, but it is performing very well. It's my second IPad -- the first one expanded while we were visiting Italy and, after I had a computer technician look at it, Apple refused to do anything to repair it. I threw it out and bought a Samsung which failed earlier this year. I tried Kindle Fire, but found it clumsy to use, so I sent it back. I'm hopeful this IPad will last a while.

This is the second iPad I bought for family members this year. This time I got it for my nephews and they are able to FaceTime their grandparents, who also got their iPad this year.
