I recently purchased the Apple iPad 9th gen from Best Buy and I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase! This device is the perfect combination of sleek design and cutting-edge technology. This IPad is fast even running on my home 5G network or on the 2.4 ghz side. (Dual band for security equipment). The price was too good to resist! My previous I pad was a “renewed” unit and the battery died about a year after I bought it. I suggest you buy one of these new & avoid refreshed, refurbished, renewed products that are old &still have the original battery. They do not automatically install a new battery in those old units. You usually get a tired weak battery. It might be working at 80% now, but remember it has likely been in there for as many as 10 years. Suggest you start off right with brand new IPad that has a new battery. The cost to replace the battery in my 4th generation unit was over $150! So if it lasts 90 days or even a year are you really saving much money buying renewed products? This 9th generation I pad is as good as the 10th unit. I prefer having the home button. I am tossing out the cheap Android tablets too. My Lenovo ( purchased new) is a slug compared to this IPad! They doubled the min storage on this generation compared to generation prior, so 64GB is enough for me. If you start with a brand new unit it easily last until it becomes obsolete. I have no idea what one does with an original IPad? I had a spotless new original generation looking unit I discarded because it couldn’t even handle web browsing on today’s feature filled top pages. Just no resources. I recommend not buying any older generations than this 9th if you can avoid it or at least no older than generation 7 or 8 if you have to. Go for brand new! Display on this unit is better. Cameras are higher megapixels. Just all around better & very close to a 10th gen unit at the top of the heap. Saving $ on a 9th gen over a 10 makes some sense but the older generations do not in most cases.

I bought the iPad 9th generation. It has a big 10.2 inch screen and looks very clear. I use it for YouTube, games, and school work—it works fast. The battery lasts long, almost all day. Touchscreen is smooth and easy to use. Camera is okay, not the best, but good for video calls. I like it a lot. It’s a good iPad for the price.

As a student full time, I was able to receive a scholarship, and what better way to spend it for something like this? The battery has a very long life. The storage is never-ending for my needs. This is the first time I have ever purchased an iPad, and the size and the 9th Generation were a perfect fit for me. Nothing super fancy, but it's very powerful.

Upgraded my sons iPad from my old hand me down iPad 4 to this and what a difference. It might be nicer than my two year old iPad Air. Bigger screen is nice. Fast. Much lighter overall. The 64 GB entry level is nice for extra show and movie downloads. I like that it’s Apple Pencil compatible for down the road. Perfect for what we needed and so much better than a bargain tablet.

This iPad replaced a original iPad Air first generation which wasn’t supported with new updates. I like the slimmer and lighter features of this iPad. I also like the larger screen and the fact that it is much faster then the older model. Would recommend this machine and the sale price was a added bonus.

I had a 16 G iPad that was years old and just couldn't keep up any more. I didn't need a super big so went with the 64G and so far I am very pleased. It responds quickly. I use it for email, Facebook and I also use the I Books app for notes every week for a Bible class I teach. So far I am very pleased. I love the fact that it is so thin and light.

We just bought this iPad to have for streaming shows on the go. I have the new M2 i13 inch Pad Air that I use for work. This one is for fun and it's been great. The 10.2 inches is perfect for portability and ease of handling. This one is so much more convenient for this type of use than the 13 inch iPad Air. For the price, if you just want an iPad for leisure, this is the way to go. Great price, nice screen, fast and responsive. I never thought we'd have use for a tablet but seen the potential in the iPad Air for leisurely use, we had to ge this one. No tegrets!

Picked up one of these while they were only $199. Extremely happy with it for that price point! Battery life is crazy good. For basic use, web browsing, TikTok scrolling, banking, shopping on the grocery/clothes apps and some light gaming it’s perfect. Very snappy and responsive. Screen is only 60hz but it looks just fine for the low cost. Being that it’s not a laminated screen; it’s also cheaper to repair if you crack it. My only complaint is the sound only comes from 1 side. So it’s not the best for watching movies in landscape without headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. I knew this before buying. My use case is mostly vertical content (TikTok) while sitting on the couch watching the big TV. So it’s not a problem for me. The 64gb model is enough for me. I’m not using this to store anything. Everything is streaming. Pics stay on my phone or in the cloud. After deleting some of the default apps (garage band, numbers, keynote) and installing a few apps / games, I still have 40gb free space. So I still give it 5 stars. Extremely good value for $199. Premium apple feel on a budget. Would recommend.

I have had iPads in the past, 1st and 5th generations, and then I went to the Samsung Galaxy A7 lite tablet. As much as I like Samsung products, all I did with the tablet was watch TV and movies. The iPad had much more content that I use, shopping apps, productivity apps like Microsoft 365 suite, creativity and music apps etc. I can use it for personal or business reasons, and I am now taking it to work whereas I never took the Samsung tablet to work. This 9th generation iteration was selling for $269 on Black Friday, and has 64GB memory, 10.2 inch screen, and it is thin and relatively lightweight. The touch pad is sensitive, and I also purchased a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard case for it. The 10th generation iPad is out now but I always like to buy the previous version because it is tried and true and is usually less expensive. So far I have not been disappointed.
