I bought this charger because I read somewhere that it can charge your iPhone in about one hour, I didn't know what to expect so when I got it the first time I used it to charge my phone (iPhone 8+) I was surprised my phone went from 19% to 100% in an hour, I definitely recommend this product.

I recently received an iPad at my work to complete work related tasks and needed a charger for it. The store associate showed me the different sizes of charging blocks and recommended the 12W charger because it is designed to charge iPads. I also bought the USB to lightning cable to go with it and everything works great.

iPhone 4 and 4S, iPod, and original iPad AC adapters do NOT charge the iPad Air, so if you need one for home and one for work or travel, you must buy this. Others available in stores and on the web will fail. Its plug folds away for more compact storage, and it turns off when charging is complete. It draws no current when nothing is connected to it so you can leave it plugged in all the time without fear of overheating, and you can leave your iPad Air plugged in all the time without fear of overcharging. It's probably made of about seven and a half cents worth of materials and a fair price for it would be between five and eight dollars, but they charge you twenty dollars plus tax, or around two and a half times its actual value.

I bought this to use as a travel charger so I can leave my other one at home. Not everyone knows this but you can use it on the iPhone too and it will charge our iPhone faster than the small square one that comes with the iPhone. Check the Apple website and you will see what devices they show it to be compatible with.

I needed another one of these, as I plug my Ipads in at different places and hate to have to drag a plug along with me. As Apple has thoughtfully determined that the cheaper Chinese-made plugs and cables are no longer valid if you have updated to IOS 9.0 or above, having the real McCoy has become very important.

I bought an after market brand charger and it wasn't charging my iPad, I thought the battery had died on my iPad, but after I had it looked at it turned out to be the charger. Only use the apple brand chargers if you want to be sure it will charge properly. $17 not too bad of a price either...for apple.

As usual, high quality Apple product. Yes, the quality makes a huge difference. The knock offs may be a lot cheaper, but they are made a lot cheaper and can be dangerous. If you've forked over the cash for an Apple product, then do the same for the accessories. You won't regret it.

I bought this charging power block with extra long lightning cable to have in the woodshop. Always got the the woodshop and never enough power for the iPad to play music all day and would run out. Always good to have spares. I believe that saying with Apple Brand accessories is the best choice. they last!

Already have one of these for my iPad, but was getting tired moving it from my bedroom to other rooms when power was running low. I've never had an issue with the original, so picked up another to keep on the main floor of the house for those rainy days when I'm spending too much time on the iPad.

I will only buy these Apple 12W USB Power Adapters from now on. I have another which I had been using for an iPhone so when I needed one more for an additional device, it was a no-brainer to buy this 12W again. Reliable fast charge for newer Apple devices. A 12W is a must for a quick iPhone charge!

This was a replacement for the one that disappeared out of my luggage on my last trip. I looked at buying a less expensive replacement but after reading customer reviews I decided to buy the Apple brand that I knew worked with no problems. I'm happy I did. Will be packing it in my carry on from now on.

This 12W USB power adapter is probably one of, if not the best, purchases I have ever made! This charges not only your iPhone at an extremely fast pace but the iPad as well! Definitely recommend this product to anyone who has Apple products, or even other brands. This product is just overall great!

It's always important to have the right tools for the job. I've bunkered two of these (one for the iPad III and one for the iPad mini II) at the office and another set in my backpack for the hotel room. They consistently get the job done correctly as one would expect from an Apple accessory.

Charger is the newest 12w version. Previous iPad charger was 10w and the small iPhone/iPod brick is 5w. This charger will charge you iPhone/iPod, etc. much faster than the small 5w and somewhat faster than the 10w. Can also be used for any other usb cable powered device, battery packs, etc.

I am so glad I was able to pick up a spare adapter for my work iPad since a coworker seems to have misplaced the original and I needed to be able to use the iPad for a project. It seems to work as well as the original - charging from completely drained to a full charge within a couple of hours.

I cannot have too many chargers around. I have an iPhone and an iPad that I keep with me almost all the time. I have two complete sets of chargers (one for each device) at the house and a complete set at school. They are fast and dependable. What else can you say? Oh, sorry. They're not free.

I like this charger more than others for 3 reasons. 1. It's 12 watts, not 10 watts like almost all others, so it will charge faster. 2. I use it for my iPhone too, again, because it charges faster than the phone charger, which is half the watts. 3. Apple makes it, so I can depend on it.

Since updating my Apple iPhone and iPad to iOS 11, the older chargers I had would not fully charge them. I bought this 12W official Apple charger and both devices are fully charging. Thanks for the update Apple that cost me the purchase of another charger!

I read reviews that said the charger got hot while using to charge any Apple device. I have not had that problem and I use this 12W Charger every day and my devices stay on the Charger all night. You get a full charge in less that an hour. I am very pleased with this product
