I live in the Bahamas for a US government job, so I shop infrequently at Best Buy in person but when I do, it’s big ticket items like laptops and phones. My last two experiences have been AWFUL. On February 24, my son who lives in Auburn, Alabama visited his local store to purchase an Apple charging cord for my new phone. He brought it to me while home on spring break. He was sold a Macbook cord, not a phone cord. I live in the Bahamas for a US government job, so I shop infrequently at Best Buy in person but when I do, it’s big ticket items like laptops and phones. My last two experiences have been AWFUL. On February 24, my son who lives in Auburn, Alabama visited his local store to purchase an Apple charging cord for my new phone. I was in MIami last week for a medical procedure and tried to return the cord, but the store there refused because so much time had passed. I see now logging into my account that it says it is eligible for return until tomorrow which means they LIED to me.
While there, I purchased a different cord for my phone and only discovered after returning to Nassau that it too is the WRONG cord. I literally showed your employee my phone when asking for help. I have trouble keeping up with technology and figuring out which chargers work with which devices, which is why I use BEST BUY, but never ever again. If your employees are going to sell me overpriced items that don’t work for me, I have to go elsewhere. I prefer to shop in store, but if I’m going to have to figure out what I need on my own, I might as well save money and use Amazon.
