Only does half it's job...

I did not find out until recently that this cable DOES NOT provide Rapid Charge for my Nexus 5X. My friends exact same cable DOES provide Rapid Charge. I guess I got a bad cable, but I am stuck with it. At least it does charge my phone, and it is longer than the original cable that came with the phone. At least there's that.
