Thick cable…not flimsy at all! The length works. I wish it came with the charger but I guess Apple has to get paid for everything now.

I wanted a longer cable for my iPad Pro since I use it as my computer and connect the cable to the Magic Keyboard. I have always enjoyed my Mac USBC cable (which I used with my iPad until I sold my Mac) , so I decided to purchase the longer cable for my iPad Pro. I am very happy that I did. It is an Apple product, so it is made to work with iPad; it is long; and it works well. I am so far very pleased with this product. I have noticed with other Apple cables that eventually bending (no tearing) happens around the base of each charging end; however, this has not happen with mine, yet. Overall, I recommend this product. The length provides more flexibility when using the iPad in a desktop setting, especially, but is also convenient in not having to be tied down or placed so closely to an outlet while charging.
