    The Apple 2M USB-C to USB-C cable is a great investment. The 1M cables are okay for charging on a counter, but aren't quite long enough for other places. the 2M is great for offices, or sitting on the couch, or even at the desk with a 30 Watt USB C adapter. They are much tougher than the standard USB-A to Lighting cable. With a simple adapter you can turn it into a lighting cable on the fly, but still have the nicer cable.

    We bought this to replace the cable for my son's iPad Air 4. I like the extra length because he used to be tethered to the floor in our living room if the battery ran low while he was in the middle of something. Now, he's able to be comfortable on the couch so he can use it while it charges.
