    The USB-C cable from Apple is a bit heavier gauge then the charging cable contained with the iPad Pro. It appears to be well constructed and the 6 foot + length is helpful in charging situations often found while traveling. It looks like it will be valuable for years to come with more and more iOS and Mac devices requiring a USB-C cable for charging.

    I wish I could say I use this a lot. As soon as I got home and used it once my wife moved it to her side. I watch her every night easily charge her phone and reach for the cord. The cord is made long so if you have a hard to reach plug the cord can still get to you with the added length. My plug is under the bed. I don’t charge my phone much.
