Works as intended which is nice given that my Macbook Pro is from 2013 and it's hard to find a proper OEM-style replacement online etc.

Not super happy that Apple did not modify the design to address the very common wire breaks. But the power adapter itself is awesome. Don't settle for knock-offs or "compatible" replacements.

Love this charger!! Really efficient and lasted years

This is a reliable piece, and unlike the cheap knockoffs, it will not overheat. There is one potential problem. It consists of two pieces, and when you unplug it from the wall, the small piece may get stuck on the wall outlet. Maybe you won't notice it until you are far away from home, and then you will have no recourse, other than buying another full set.

I am so glad I made this purchase! It charges fast and has a cord long enough to charge while I’m on my laptop . Definitely recommend!

Needed this for an older model MacBook Air and found one that was an Open Box one in stock. Plug and play. Works great. Easy to use. More expensive to purchase at a brick and mortar walk-in Best Buy than other sources on line, but was on the road and had an immediate need and thankfully found this one.

I'm sure many of you have been through the same thing: buying the el cheapo power adapters off of Amazon and/or eBay, and the things just stop working after a few months (at most). Apple hideously overcharges for their official products, but at least they seem to hold up...so far, at least. It's not worth being annoyed with a charger that you're playing Russian Roulette with. Just get the right one to begin with, I say.
