I was expecting the same old as any AirPods. I was surprised - this has a nice surround sound going. They're a little more ear-friendly than the previous generations, although it will take some getting used to. The controls are different, little harder to do because of the size. Connectivity is fast, Battery life starts off great, then wains as they start to age, Overall battery life is not as good as the previous gens in the long run. Overall design of the pods are better than the earlier gens. The case, not so much. They're difficult to put in there, the design doesn't make sense. 4 out of 5

I also love that the case has a little speaker now so I can ping it from Find My when I lose it (which happens more than I’d like to admit). Only downside: no volume control on the buds themselves, but I just ask Siri or use my Apple Watch. Overall, I’m really happy with these.
