I wasn’t sure what to expect, but needed a new pair of workout headphones. Some reviews said they didn’t stay in while running. I have been using them now for the last few weeks and they are great! They fit my ears well. The sound is great! The completely wireless experience is hard to describe but ia xomoletely worth it! The pairing is seemless and the connection is solid. I highly recommend these!

First, the sound quality of these pods was almost if not as good as the various pairs of Bose ear pods I have. I was very impressed. Second, the volume actually went higher than the Bose which was nice. They fit in my ears fine and for those who want an even better fit you can purchase an aftermarket set of accessories which include different size fins and a strap which can go around your neck. These also come with a charging case which as an added purchase for most ear pods. The only downside for me was there is no ability to adjust the volume from the pods themselves. You must use either your phone or Siri which is not the most fluid. Overall I would recommend these and am happy with them.

I care a lot about sound quality. These don’t disappoint. They sound about the same as the normal Apple earphones. These have a great battery life, charge fast, sound great, and are small & easy to carry around. Oh and the thing I like best is that you just take them out of the case and they’re on and paired. No neeed to press any buttons or wait for them to pair. Love them!

While Apple AirPods come in at the hefty price of $160, they are definitely worth it if you have the spare change. They’re surprisingly hard to lose or misplace, and charge remarkably fast. Within 15 minutes you can get a good 40%+ charge on them! The charging case is definitely a plus, holding 24+ hours of extra charge to keep your AirPods going for days at a time.

I read many reviews on this, before the buy. I am a true audiophile and as such had been staying away from these. However, after a day of connection issues with another brand, I decided to give them a try. Connecting these to your phone are as simple as turning them on, and saying "these are mine". Sound quality is surprisingly good. NOT great, not high end hear the breath of the singer quality but for the gym and for travel these are amazing. Noise blocking is okay too. For phone calls - you will not beat these. You have them both in for stereo or you can easily just use one. Have both in and one is going low? Just take it out and it turns to mono - put it in the portable charger and keep talking you will have a pretty highly charged headphone in about 15 minutes. Want to make a call, tap on the headphone. Want to hang up? Tap on the headphone. Want to talk to Siri? Just double tap on the other headphone (you can assign these). The headphones charge in their portable carrier and you can charge them 4-6 times before needing to recharge the cradle. Like to run? Go ahead, they don't come out (it's magic, I don't understand why they don't fall out). Want to lay down and bust out some reps on bench? Go ahead, they are staying in. It's really hard for me to find a reason NOT to like these.

Overall, they are great. The battery life is decent and charges fast. The sound quality is great, and they connect quickly and easily (one of the main reasons I got them), so on my way to classes or in-between, all I have to do is put them in and go. The only bad things are that they are not waterproof, and they are pricey (like most Apple products).

My previous (and first) wireless earbuds were Jaybird Bluebuds, which I was very happy with. I was interested in AirPods because they were "totally" wireless (Bluebuds earbuds are linked by cable to each other. The AirPods are definitely easier to put on than the Bluebuds.
AirPods linked easily to my iPhone 6.
They fit comfortably in my ears and stay in place during my walks (my primary use). I have not yet tested them during other "more strenuous" activities (ex: running). Sometimes I have find myself checking to insure they are firmly in my ears -- a sensation that they are a little loose (the Bluebuds include ear fins, which provide a very secure fit and may be biasing my perception).
Sound quality is great.
I am not a Siri user and have used the Siri interface to change volume a couple of times which has worked fine. Must admit that I have an "attachment" to buttons. That being said, adjusting volume on the Bluebuds could be tricky with the control pod being behind my left ear (connecting cable running behind my head).
The recharging case is very nifty.
Not the lowest price option on the market, but, based on my past experience with Apple, I am investing in their quality and longevity.

I purchased these airpods for my wife after receiving same as a gift last winter. I was concerned about a few things prior to receiving the pods.
1. Sound - I have been less than satisfied by the sound of prior Apple headphones. These sound great.
2. Fit - The airpods stay in my ears without me messing with them with one exception...when doing yard work in the summer, the airpods will slip just a bit due to sweat. They have NEVER fallen out of my ears on any occasion.
3. Would I loose them? - So far so good! I try to be disciplined to return them to their case when not in use. I've had one time a nearly washed one when I did not adhere to my plans. Lesson (almost) learned.
4. Are they worth the money? - I can't answer that for anyone reading this review. This item is a want, not a must have. That being said, I use them almost daily, listening to music, podcasts or using just one to talk on the phone . I love the fact they will pause whatever you're listening to when you remove one or both from my ears. Also like the easy access to Siri, although I dont use that function often.
Summary. Our family know owns 6 pairs of airpods...everyone is very happy with them so far!

Excellent sound quality and seamless interaction between all of your Apple devices. They do stay in while running. Recently used them on a 12-hour trail run/hike and never ran out of battery life. The volume could be a bit louder, but otherwise perfect. Previously purchased the new Jaybird Run earbuds and the sound cut out constantly.

I was A little skeptical at first but after reading some reviews and making the purchase, these are by far the best sounding, most convenient, easiest to use Bluetooth earbuds and actually stay in your ears. I usually have problems keeping things in my ears, but not these! They are lightweight and extremely portable. Great investment.

I put off buying these for a long time because I had a hard time justifying the premium price, but after my second set of cheap earphones died I decided to give them a try. I'm amazed with how well they work.
From the moment I opened the box it was literally 3 seconds before I was listening to music. Flip, hit connect on my phone screen, put in my ear, play... done! The best bluetooth experience that I've ever encountered! I've not yet updated my MacBook (needs to be Sierra or higher), so I can't comment on the experience switching back and forth, but switching to my watch was instant and easy as well.
Sound quality is about the same as earpods... not the best, but you buy these for convenience and portability, not audiophile level sound -- good enough for most uses, and I have Grado and AKG headphones for when I want the best overall sound quality.
Comfort is about the same as earpods, though they feel a little bit bigger (even though I cannot see the difference). I've found earpods (and now airpods) to be the most comfortable shape for me, so that's a good thing. If you don't like earpods, you won't like these. I have tried head-banging to music, shaking my head rapidly back and forth (even with my ear facing the ground), and have run a little bit with them; they don't budge.
Battery life is phenomenal... hours of listening, and only a few minutes in the case and they're ready to go again. Give your ears a short break every few hours (good for your hearing anyhow) and put them in the case for a bit and you'll easily get a full day of listening from them!
One feature that's really neat that seems to be under-appreciated is the fact that when you take out one earbud the audio mixes to mono and you still get the full experience out of one ear. With other earphones taking one out means that you miss anything that has strong stereo separation and is balanced to the ear that you're not currently using. I tested this with some YouTube videos for testing stereo separation and sure enough if I took out one ear I was then able to hear the "left" and "right" test audio both in the same ear.
I like the auto play/pause when you take an earbud out. Very convenient for talking to people... somebody walks up, remove an earbud, music stops... say what you want to say, put it back in, music starts. Amazing! (though a bit annoying if you just remove the earbud for a moment to scratch your ear and didn't really want it to pause :-) )
For phone calls and facetime calls the audio quality seems very good and it seems that everybody I speak to can understand me just fine -- thought I haven't asked anybody how it sounds to them.
If I had to find a fault with them it would only be that they don't report battery percentage to the phone's battery widget while they're charging, you have to open the case to get them to report their status. Given how long they hold a charge I really don't anticipate that being a problem, just charge them at night like I do my phone.
One minor caveat... since I have the Apple Watch I can control the volume and select next track by just lifting my wrist and using my watch. Having the whole Apple ecosystem makes the experience better. Without the watch it would be a bit annoying to not be able to change the volume w/o having to use the buttons on the phone, which is not always easily available. With the watch I can literally just lift my wrist and turn the digital crown to adjust the volume.

Even though, I believe, there is one flaw to these ear buds, I still absolutely love them. They charge quick and they are easy to charge with the little case. The case stays charged and is able to charge the AirPods multiple times. They work independently of each other. They stay in my ears and don't fall out. The one flaw - they're a little too big for my ears and they will hurt if I wear them for too many hours at a time. I knew this when I bought them, but wanted to try them anyway. I'm still very satisfied with my purchase.

Bought and returned several earbuds, not sure what I was looking for but wanted something Bluetooth, wireless, lightweight and easy to use. A young Best Buy associate told me about these and I ordered them. They are the best ever! Now my co-driver, as truck drivers that we are, is going to get his own set. Everybody I talk to on them can hear me clearly, hearing no road noise. I can hear very clearly and listen to my e-books without problems or interruption. Just wish you could answer phone touching the bud instead of actually handing your phone but other than that they’re great!! Take a bud out of your ear lay it on the dashboard it automatically pauses my books put it back in your ear and it automatically starts from where it left off. You can use one or the other or both with wonderful sound! 110% satisfied with this product! Thank you Best Buy for helping me solve this frustrating problem with a product I can rave about! I am very picky. These are one of the best things I’ve bought in a long time! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

We tested the AirPods against every wireless earbud Best Buy sells in the store and online. We were looking for open air earbud that was comfortable, light with good sound and connected easily. AirPods were the hands down winner. The only real draw back is you have no volume control on non apple devices.

Airpods are very expensive, so I guess the question is, are they worth it? If you are looking for eardrum-bursting volume, skull shattering base, and noise cancellation, look elsewhere. But is you are looking for comfortable earbuds, with clean sound, they are excellent.
The case looks like a dental floss container, and also functions as the charger. They last about 5 hours, and 15 minutes in the case gives them a 3 hour charge. If you only use one, you get both channels through it, and you can keep the other one charged. To pause, you either remove one, or double tap one. You can also set them to access Siri if you double tap.
I bought them when I was on a business trip. I was traveling alone so I spent a lot of nights streaming movies on my MacBook and using the AirPods. They function equally well with an iPhone, iPad or MacBook.
So pros: they have amazing clarity, clean crisp sound
They don't take up much room
You can use one at a time so you can use them over a long period with no downtime
Cons: very pricey
Not great if you like really loud music
My wife was a tad angry I bought them because of the price. But two weeks later she ordered a pair. Apple said they would ship 6 weeks after she ordered; I ordered from Best Buy, they said 3 weeks and I got them in 2.

Got these about a week about and I must say meet and exceed expectations. I bought with Catalyst olive silicone case, which is drop proof 4ft and water proof up to 3ft alongside insignia’s apple airpods accessories. I use these buds daily for work and fit nicely in your ear especially with the kit to match ear size. The battery last about 5 hours which is good the time I have to take a lunch at work. Within 15 min of my lunch batteries back to 100% amazing apple thank you. The case can last you all day they say 24hrs I believe them. Also the case for airpods handy because can wear on your belt buckle and you won’t lose them and easy to carry. Overall great earphones with decent sound but ease of use trumphs especially when you have an iPhone to connect these to. Style, comfort, and battery life/charge time win for me. They were worth every penny for the little bundle I got which was airpods, accessories kit, and case. I have been using these daily since I got them and love them so far!!!

I bought these to replace the traditional wired buds that come with iPhone and a pair of wired bluetooth earbuds... They do not disappoint. When I'm active in the office I don't have to be concerned with the loose wires snagging on anything and during workouts they stay in place without concern of falling out. I've had a pair of wired bluetooth buds that were always falling out due to the weight and bounce of the cord during workouts, not anymore.
The sound is clean and clear and phone calls are crisp as well, with sound coming from both L&R.
They're sleek, low profile design is nice; not sticking out of the ear so much that I look like a robot. haha. The charging case isn't bulky either, its fits easily in my pocket.
I've not had any concerns with the battery life. As long as I keep the case charged I'm good to go. When I'm not using the buds, I just pop them in there for a little extra charge up and I'm golden the next time I'm ready to use them again.

I cannot express how much I love these things! They’re super comfortable. The charge is awesome. The AirPods themselves will play for 5 hours on one charge, then you put them in their case/charger for 15 minutes and they’ll go another 5 hrs!! ‘The sound is wonderful. Full bass, but doesn’t drop high range, either. You can use Siri while you’re listening to music or video. You can set AirPods up very easily to respond to certain commands. If I tap my right AirPod, I go forward a track - if I tap my left, I go to the previous track, or replay the current track. iOS 11 lets you set up other commands as well, depending on your needs. If you take out one AirPod, you pause your music or your video. When you put the AirPod back in, you resume without losing your place. I honestly did not expect to like these, and now they are in my ears all day! Also, you can leave your iPad and go several rooms away without sound drop. BUY THESE.

These are great ear buds. They stay connected and also stay in my ears. The sound great. Also a great feature is that they can be used individually. The mic is great too. I have used them while talking on the phone. There is no echo or feed back. Great wireless product.
