Despite the great reviews, I was skeptical at first but have ended up liking these more than I thought I would. There's a huge convenience factor to being able to carry headphones around in my pocket that are wirefree with good audio quality and sufficient battery life to last days at a time for my listening patterns. They sync easily to my iPhone and I do like the auto pause feature when removing one bud from my ear to have a brief conversation and auto resume when I put the bud back in. It works well. The only improvement I'd recommend is auto switching amongst devices as is available in some Bose devices, however the portability factor for me outweighs the extra effort needed to switch devices.

I love my airpods. I’ve had them for over a year now and really don’t have too much to complain about. They are easy to pair with devices. I have mine paired with all my apple products and windows computer. It’s great how when you open the case it pops up on your device to show you how much battery is left in a case itself and on each airpod. If you use the wired apple earbuds, you will not be disappointed with these. They don’t fall out too easily. I wear them on my commute to work which includes a mile walk and up and down subway stairs. If I bump my ear or something, yes they will fall out but thats to be expected with wired headphones. I highly recommend and have even purchased for a friend.

    Great Bluetooth Headphones

I wear headphones almost all day for work. I wanted to get away from constantly being tangled up in my headphone cable. I tried some other bluetooth headphones that sealed the ear completely and found that style uncomfortable - it just feels too unnatural to me - try plugging your ears and talking to see what I mean. Lots of people prefer this, but not me. I have always liked the standard Apple earbuds because they fit my ears very well and I have never had an issue with them falling out. When I received notification that the airpods were available again on bestbuy.com, I ordered them immediately. They feel comfortable to wear for long periods of time and sound great. Connection to your phone is flawless - possibly the best part about these headphones. The only issues that I have are that if you put them in while your phone is ringing, there is a very brief delay (1-2 seconds) before the caller can hear you. This is only while trying to answer an active call. The battery life seems reasonable to me. I usually wear them for 4-5 hours of moderate to heavy use (a couple of hour long conference calls and also some music) before the battery gets down to 20% or lower. Pop them into the case for 10-15 minutes, and they're charged back up to about 70%. These work great for me, and if you can tolerate the battery life, they will work great for you too.

At first I thought they were another Apple overpriced piece of hardware....After trying multiple wireless earbuds from all brands (Bose, Beats, Skull Candy, JBL, etc, etc) I finally pulled the trigger on this ones, just to test them and I'm so glad I did. They are amazing! My two biggest concerns were them not having an ear hook would mean they would fall all the time, but the reality is that they don't and the fit is great. My other concern was the battery life...and I can say that after about two weeks...I've never ran out of battery. I listen to a lot of podcasts and it's never let me down. The trick is in the case. It recharges your earbuds when you put them away.... it works perfectly.

I was skeptical about purchasing Airpods because I wasn't sure how they would fit and what the sound quality would be like. After using mine for about 2 months, I've been pleasantly surprised by how convenient these are to use. They fit like the regular apple headphones and the sound quality is pretty much the same as well (doesn't disappoint). The Airpods are easy to pair and connect with your phone, and when you take one out of your ear the music will pause then resume once both airpods are back in your ears. I'm especially looking forward to using my airpods when college starts back, since it'll be nice to pop them in my ears on my way to class or while studying in the library, without the hassle of untangling annoying wires or having to press a lot of buttons to connect devices over bluetooth. I know I was also skeptical about the appearance of the Airpods before purchasing as well, since many people make fun of how they look hanging out of the ears ("Oral B Pods"), but I personally think the design is sleek and functional compared to the other wireless earpods out there. I haven't used these to work out or run in because I'm afraid a lot of sweat might interfere with the product, so I usually use these for easy listening or light workouts and they do a great job performance wise. I never worry about losing my airpods because you'll always put them back in their magnetic charging case (it looks like a floss container), which holds 5 hours of charge & uses the same charger as other apple products (phone, iPad). If you have a friend that has Airpods or are able to see how they fit before purchasing, that may be beneficial in helping you make your decision.

After 2nd use, left AirPod stopped charging, happened to be in Guam right after purchase. Took AirPods to bestbuy for an exchange when back in town, customer service rep wouldn't do an exchange nor return claiming I was past the 14 days. Unhappy with the product and certainly disappointed at bestbuy.

The convenience of these earbuds makes you forget you have toothbrush heads sticking out of your ear. I have a pair of wired bluetooth earbuds and the true wireless feature of these makes a big difference for me and how often I use them. They are so easy to put in, take out and transport! They connect quickly and the sound quality is just fine for what they are, small bluetooth earbuds. I drive with the windows down regularly and never have issues hearing or being heard. I was not expecting them to stay in as well as they do but in addition to staying put I am able to wear them for extended periods without any discomfort, sometimes even forgetting they are in.

I've seen both positive and negative reviews on Apple's AirPods. Granted, mostly positive but both exist. I was in the market for a truly wireless earbud to use while working out. I needed something that fit my ear comfortably, didn't fall out, and sounded good with some decent base response. But mostly, I needed something that would quickly go where I go, connect to all my devices (iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch) without hassle and no wires to stick to the back of my neck when I sweat. Honestly, I am very pleasantly surprised at how much I have enjoyed these AirPods. I've used a couple pair of Apple EarPods as my secondary and at-work earbuds and they work fine. But the AirPods take it the next level. They are more comfortable, sound better, and not a wire to be found. I told my family just a couple days ago that these might be my best electronics purchase of all time. I'm that satisfied with their performance, comfort and mobility. I even gave my former primary earbuds, Beats Powerbeats 2 to my wife because I don't think I'll need them anymore. So, they aren't perfect, nothing ever is except for God. The lack of controls can be frustrating when on the go but that's about the only thing that really bugs me. I'm hoping that a software update from Apple might give AirPod owners more control options, but the music app on the Apple Watch does work to control the earbuds and of course the phone will also get the job done in terms of controls. For me, the AirPods are the perfect earbuds. Well weighted, comfortable enough to forget your wearing them after a few minutes, and good performance. I really have nothing but praise for this product.

What do you want? Full wireless? This product delivers what was expected. The charge doesn't last very long, but the case holds a charge and it's easy to top up in a very short amount of time. You can move around, or lay down, and they don't fall out. If you fall asleep it's likely they will fall out - these are designed for being awake. If you go running they will stay in. They are passable for lifting weights. Easy to drop taking them out of the case, or putting them in. They can survive a drop (or two or three). The bluetooth sync is fast and works immediately most of the time. Range is good. I don't get too many complaints talking on the phone, it's as good as anything else, but I couldn't say it's the best or better. But again, people don't complain too much at all. Sometimes my car bluetooth and aired bluetooth fight each other. Music sounds good, in a way better than regular EarPods because they seem to fight in my each better. I like the sound, it's not awesome, but the comparison should not be Beats or Bose, but wired EarPods. Worse Features - you can't really control anything about how the device works directly from the device. You can access Siri and you can hang up phone calls. You can take one out to pause music and it will start most of the time when you put it back in. But if it doesn't work, and your phone isn't close then you have to go get it. Just a little aggravating to truly need your phone for just about everything. Maybe if you have a Apple Watch it would be a bit easier? You look like a dork - you won't feel like one. These are great and deliver what was promised.

These are amazing. Sound quality seem the same to regular Apple headphones, but the freedom of wireless is awesome. The AirPods charge quickly and last a long time. You can even use them with only one earphone. I do this a lot at work to listen for other things that are going on st the work place. I have no issues with them falling out. Having no wires to deal with or get caught on is great. Worth the price compared to other “wireless” headphones that still have the wire connecting the left and right earphone.

I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I bought these mainly to use while running, but they've proven to be great earbuds for the rest of my life too. I didn't have particularly high expectations for the sound, but its much better than you'd think. I'm definitely not an audiophile, but I do care quite a bit about the sound quality of my headphones/earbuds. I've generally had over ear headphones my whole life, and haven't tried earbuds besides the ones that come in the iPhone box, which are obviously not great. But there's no comparison between those earbuds and these. These certainly aren't on par with something like my Audio Technica ATH-M50 over ear headphones, but the difference is smaller than you'd think. The difference is small enough that I find myself preferring these in many situations, like at-work listening. Not having wires attached to your headphones is more freeing than I thought it would be. They fit in my ears awesome, so I guess I'm lucky to be one of the people who's ears are the right shape for these. By the time I finish a run, even with sweaty ears and all the moving I've done, these haven't moved in my ears even slightly. I can't shake them loose even if I try. The battery life I've experienced is pretty much on par with what Apple claims. They last plenty long for me. I saw another review mention that these don't get loud enough. I haven't found this to be the case for me; these seem to get about as loud as the standard iPhone earbuds. When I turn these all the way up, they're uncomfortably loud for me, although I don't generally listen to music very loudly.

Really surprised at the quality of sound and how secure and comfortable they feel in my ears. I can jump around and they do not come loose. I would have to imagine that ear buds will naturally fit differently for others, but I found these true to almost all of the reviews which praise the fit and sound quality. Would be nice if the volume could be controlled, but that must be done via the device it is linked to. Charge is true and lasts about 5 hours, depending on volume. The case recharges the buds quickly to minimize downtime. The case holds enough charge to charge the buds 4-5 times. Great purchase and love being free of cables.

These are not something you "have" to have but definitly want to have them if you have apple products. It give you a true wireless experience, works perfectly from Iphone, to Ipad, to Mac. Battery life is impressive. For me personally, they fit well in my ears. Sound is good enough for the average listener. I would highly recommend them based on the above. However, I would not recommend them if you fall into any of the following. If the wired earbud do not fit well in your ears, then these won't either. If you do not have Apple products. If you are looking for amazing sound quality, these aren't for you.

I was an idiot and paid start-up money to Kanoa...the in-ear Bluetooth ear buds that never happened! Lost my money and everything. So, I still wanted to be able to lift weights without dangerous dangling cords, so I bought these. They stay in, they sound great (it seems it's impossible to make them REALLY loud though) and with the new iOS update, you are actually able to program the double-tap feature for each ear. I set mine to go forward one song on the right ear, back on the left (no need to summon Siri while working out an looking like I'm talking to myself). They old their charge too.

Despite all the obvious fears of losing them or having them fall out so easily, I found that these AirPods are deceptively light and very secure in your ear. I think as 1st generation AirPods they lack some direct controls on volume and track selection (which right now requires you to use Siri to achieve, but who wants to announce on a crowded bus or street corner "Siri, lower the volume" or "Siri, play the next track"?). Once you get over this limitation and crank them up I find the are easy to wear and produce an amazing full-sound in your ear. I recommend them with some reservations.

I was actually one of those people saying that these would sound horrible and be too much trouble to use but now I will have to take back everything I ever said negatively about these air pods. They fit snug in my ears, and the sound is amazing! Connecting them to my phone was super easy as well, I’ve had other Bluetooth headphones that were a pain to connect and would loose connection now and then but I haven’t had a problem with these at all so far. They are a bit pricey but when you look at the prices of all the other items out there for sale, to me they are well worth it.

Apple AirPods are an incredibly enhanced version of the Apple EarPods because they are wireless, louder and have options that you can customize. They easily pair with an iPhone and can be used across multiple devices connected to your iCloud account. The carrying case is a charger and gets charged when connected to power. It charges the AirPods when placed into the case. You can get a visual display of the battery levels for the left & right AirPods and case by opening the AirPods cover next to your unlocked iPhone or using the batteries widget. The AirPods easily slide into their receptacle because they have a magnetic that gently pulls each into place (as long as you get the stem into the hole). I found taking them out required a small amount of effort depending on how you use your finger(s) to grab one and the position of the case in your hand(s). When there is only one AirPod in the case, it is much easier to remove. I choose to place each AirPod in my ear as I take them out or put them into the case to avoid dropping them. The AirPods are slightly larger than the EarPods. They fit and feel exactly the same in my ears. I found that I have to double tap a little harder than a light tap to activate that feature. Overall, the Apple AirPods are an outstanding wireless device.

This is a great product for the Apple ecosystem! I resisted purchasing these and would not give them a chance for a long time. I thought it was the stupidest idea Apple had to date. I did not like the look and could not envision how they would stay in my ears. I worried that they would get lost too easily. One day a buddy of mine purchased them and allowed me to use them for a few hours. The Airpods are AWESOME!!! They are my favorite headphones and I own several different brands. The fit is very comfortable and surprisingly secure. I tried everything besides banging my head into a wall to try to make them fall out my ears and have been unsuccessful. The sound quality is superb! I paired them with my AppleTV and I am always surprised at the ambient and background sounds that exist in shows that I can hear now. Highs and mid range are very clear, if you want pure deep bass to shatter your eardrum you might want another brand though. Syncing and switching with other apple products is so simple. The charging case is a genius idea! Keep the case charged and you will always have a power source for your Airpods. The battery life in case will last for continual charges for 24 plus hours. Just get something to protect the case; mine has a lot of micro-scratches and I have tried to be very careful with mine. Overall I am very satisfied!
