I think the best thing about the AirPods is the simplicity. I've never paired a Bluetooth audio device so quickly. You literally open the case next to your phone and they connect. They pretty much only do one thing (play music), but they do it well, and without issues. As far as sound quality goes, they're about the same as the standard EarPods. If you want good sound quality, go with a wired, noise-isolating earbuds like Bowers and Wilkins C5 ($149). Since AirPods aren't noise isolating, you can still hear ambient noise. It's not desirable if you're looking for audiophile sound quality, but if you like to listen to music at work while still being able to hear those around you, they're great for that. I literally don't have one complaint about this product. Even the price is good compared to other truly-wireless buds such as Samsung IconX ($199) and Bragi Dash ($299).

At first i was shocked at how pricey they were, but then i got them in the mail and put them in, and they were so easy to connect to my phone and it is so simple. They have the same if not better quality than the refular plugged-in earpods. I highly recommend this truly magical product to any apple owner.

I consider myself an average or rookie audiophile and this is also my firt time trying anything Apple. I recently purchased the iPhone X, coming from HTC U11, Pixel 2 XL and other phones. (i tend to switch every 3-4 months) so far the experience with iOS has been different but not in the negative way. I am always listening to music, and this is where my investments goes into. I have high end wired headphones, multiple bluetooth earphones, portable DAC's and etc. I wanted something to compliment my iPhone X and although the Airpods 2 will arrive later this year i decided to purchase them and once the new ones come out just give the 1st Gen to my wife. I have to tell you i cannot be more impressed with connectivity, audio quality (impressed with sound mids and highs crisp, bass is enough to get me by) i also own the Jabra Elite 65T and I find myself going back to the Airpods... sorry for this long paragraph but just shows that i do appreciate the advances that Apple has made

I was skeptical about purchasing these airPods because I was thinking they were overpriced. But let me tell you something you're the best thing I have purchase I have did jumping jacks push-ups rollover and everything and these things do not come out my ear. The sound quality is outstanding.

As most of you know, Apple prides itself on releasing products that we didn’t know that we needed. This product is just another example of that with it’s seamless connectivity process, incredible battery charge and charge rate, and many other features to even list.

I love my air pods. I like that when I get up away from my phone they stop. I don’t have to pause it myself it does it for me. I also like that they charge in it’s own case and don’t have to worry about dying. The case is awesome and fits perfectly in my purse.

I love the sound of these wireless headphones and love not being connected to a chord. It is also possible to use use one and have with a friend use the other which is handy when listening to the same information, e.g. Directions while walking using google maps, Waze or mapquest.

Apple AirPods are the best in the market. Easy to connect and the sound quality is amazing.

The versatility and ease of use for these is unbelievable. It is great that they easily connect so easily and are comfortable while delivering superior sound. This not only works with iPhone, but even Bluetooth enabled devices such as a pc.

These headphones are phenomenal. They stay in my ears perfectly and to my surprise they sound amazing. The ease of use is also a huge factor and because of the ease of just opening the case and they connect, I carry them with me almost everywhere.

There AirPods were a gift for my daughter or er birthday, but the sound and the convenience along with the charging box makes them so convenient that this mom wants some too (oh, and so does her sister)!

They do not fall out of my ear and fit well compared to other headphones. The price may seem steep but compared to other high quality truly wireless earbuds, I’d say they are mid range in the price range.

Let me start off by saying I’ve used other fully wireless headphones before and loved compared to these and overall performance and fitment. The sound quality is about the same as in the headphones you get with your iPhone. The fitment is also the same with the headphones to get with your iPhone which for me both isn’t bad since the sound quality is terrible and the fitment is perfect for my ears also you can buy the little wings so they won’t pop out of your ears and you won’t lose these headphones. This product is great for music as well as turning heads, you won't see this on most people as it's still picking up traction. Definitely can make someone a believer after the first try of using it. My only real gripe is it has no volume control, which will hopefully appear on the upcoming iteration(s). Music sounds very clear, noise cancellation seems to work well with calls and music(you won't hear the outside world if you don't want to), and Siri is as simple as clicking either airpod twice (unless you customize, my left pauses music, my right airpod skips to the next track). A worthwhile investment for the casual and likely even the musical expert.
