It worked good for about 2 months, now there's static and no sound half the time.

This product seemed great - didn't fit with any case though. Had to return.

I should've bought an Apple TV......................

Took a chance buying open box, product did not work as advertized. I would not recommend using this on older I pad models

Bought it to be able to look at things from my iPad but it won't work on the tv!!!

The product doesn't fit into the nuud life proof case I have for my iPad 2.

I wanted a way to see movies from Netflix, Hulu Plus, ABC, NBC, AirVideo, Itunes apps on my big screen. This adapter lets me do just that. The video and audio quality from the HDMI output to my flatscreen is excellent. I can catch up on all my shows from ABC and NBC apps. This adapter gives me more option beyond what my Apple TV has to offer.

This is perfect if you want to show somebody or a group of people something on your iPod, iPhone, or iPad! I've used it for a class presentation while using the Keynote app on my iPad and it helped a lot. I've also used it to show other people videos from either my iPad or iPhone. I also like that you can also charge your iPod/iPhone/iPad while using it if you plug in the charging cord into the given slot. The only bad thing about it (not sure if it's just the one I got or if it applies to all of them) is that the connection would glitch if the cord part of this connector is bent and then nothing can be seen from the iPod/iPhone/iPad.

Bought it pluged it in and started watching video in HD works with iPad2 and Verizon iPhone 4S both with OS 5.1. I did not receive the message the other person claims to get of device not supported. I have to assume they have equipment problem or maybe had charge adapter connected that did not com with their device I was using all Apple(R) devices.

I bought this device so my son could watch movies on the big screen. It works great, picture and sound quality are amazing. Another good thing about it is that you can charge your ipad while conected to the tv. Amazing.

This is excellent! Right out of the box and it's redy to go. Created for the average user and the picture quality on my TV is exactly as it would appear on my Ipad. Depending on the program, I still can control operation from the Ipad (HUDL), however videos from you tube function on your tv screen

Works great on my plasma tv and computer monitor, just plug it in and your iPad is on a lot bigger screen. It makes it a lot easier to share with a group! Also on your desk you can use certain computer monitors, way better!

What can I say...it just works. I use it when I travel. I load movies on my iPad and then when I am at the hotel or resort, I use plug in my adapter and the cheap $6.00 HDMI cable and I am good to go. FYI: you don't need an expensive HDMI cable. DOn't let any one tell you differently.

The adapter is simple and easy to use -- plug it in and it automatically mirrors the iPad. I bought it to be able to hook up HBO Go to my television via my iPad's HDMI out, and it works flawlessly. However, note that apps can block the HDMI out, so certain services -- such as Amazon Instant Video at present -- won't work with the HDMI, which is a bummer. Also, this uses the old non-lightening connector, so while it works with older iPads it won't work with the newer ones going forward.

Seems to work well with the iPad2 with iOS 5.1. Please note, this the the new 2012 version with locking plug. There are two release buttons on the side of the plug, don't forget to use them when disconnecting the unit. For the price, It should include a HDMI cable, but it does not. It really should be a one cord solution. This keeps me from giving it 5 stars, otherwise seems to work well.

Okay so I wanted to put an update for everyone because I was at fear to buy this for my iPad 3. I needed to be able to use this to watch the videos on my tv and yes, some of the items do not work but I'm hoping with time that this will change. I hooked this up to a Sony TV, did not get any issues and I hope it stays that way. I have an Ipad 3 with IOS 6 so it worked for me. I'm wondering if there are other cables out there that are not making this compatible, but it does work for some people.

I bought this so i could stream video from my iPhone to my Samsung TV and it has saved me a ton of money due to living in the country and having to use a Verizon mobile hotspot with 10G it doesn't take long to burn it up. The video quality isn't that good at times due to the signal but when i get full signal it is great.

First, this is the *new* model that's supposed to work without issues (i.e. not showing 'unsupported device'). However it did until I updated to the latest iOS (fine... I understand). I also understand that only newer devices can mirror otherwise it only displays on the HDMI output device. With that said, it is not stable and I have to frequently remove and reconnect it (sometimes several times) to get it to finally display. Sometimes only sound comes out and not video. (Yes, I've tried it on several HD TV's with different cables and from iPhone 4, iPad (original), and iPad 2 (which is supposed to work 100%). Just don't expect it to work 'straight out' like most Apple products do... because it doesn't.
