Hooked this cable up with ZERO problems, no tweaking no adjustments. Used both our IPad and IPhone. Netflix worked perfect. 100% plug and play for me. Just the way I expected.

Perfect little adapter that's very easy to use and works like a charm.

I would recommend this product to a friend if they didn't mind repurchasing it every 90-180 days. Im on my way to buy adapter #3 later this evening. The first few months you have this, it works wonderfully. Then it starts to have glitches and shortages and eventually it will just stop working on you. On my way to buy another one!

Got this and a HDMI cable. Downloaded the HBO To Go app and everything works great with my IPad2.

As any other apple product this one is pretty easy to use.

Connected this to iPhone 4S and no video/audio. Tried on several phones including one which had been barely used (so the dock was definitely not damaged). HDMI cable was definitely good. Tried restarting phones, no luck. After some internet research, it is clear that this item does not work on IOS 6. Many others have reported this issue, including people who had it working fine before they upgraded from IOS 5 to 6. Do not buy this item. As a side note, the extra connection that lets you charge the phone while using the HDMI adapter is a convenience, but the way it's laid out makes the adapter rather clunky to use. Could be designed better.

I bought this connector as a substitute for cable but was pretty disappointed to find out the HBO GO app doesn't work with any output devices. Not Apple's fault, but still a pretty big fault. Most of the other apps did not display fullscreen on my TV, which I'm not sure was because of the TV or the app output. Until they can get all apps to display fullscreen at HD resolution, it's not really worth it.

I bought this specifically to watch HBOGO.com on my TV thru my iPad. I hooked it up and you can view pictures, etc on the TV. When I tried to watch HBO it said 'App does not support HDMI connection'. So if you want to catch up on season 1 of Game Of Thrones don't buy this.

Great adapter but was not compatible with my iPad.

Apple states on their product box that it supports the iPhone 4, but it doesn’t. I get a message saying, “Accessory Not Supported” (This accessory requires an iOS update.) So I follow as instructed & do a iOS update to 5.1 (there latest update) & I still get the same message, “Accessory Not Supported”. I’m taking this back first thing tomorrow.

The box says that it works with HDMI for the original iPad, but when I tried connecting it I received the "Device Not Supported" message and the video would not play to my TV through the HDMI. Cannot comment on quality as I couldn't get it to work.

Tried two different iPads (both within iOS 6) and two different HDMI cables (both of work with DVD players, etc.) and nothing worked.
