The Apple cover that my husband bought with my iPad 2 finally ripped and I was looking for an alternative to use as a stand. The dock was exactly what I was looking for, a simple stand that will hold the iPad while I watch a movie, read, etc. the bonus is that you can charge it as well. Main love it. Holds iit better than the apple cover stand. Great purchase and price.

Exactly what you think. Insert ipad in upright position and charging begins. I like to keep it on my desk near my laptop and view on both. Only issue for me is that the case I have on my ipad needs to be removed before unit can be placed on dock.

It works exactly as expected. it takes up little space, charges ipad while im using it. its great.

I hesitated to buy yet one more gadget for my apple products, but received this as a gift. I like being able to rest it on the charger instead of plugging it in each night and I like that it frees up table space.

Nice, compact unit. It does it's job well, holding the iPad upright while charging. Unfortunately, because of its design, you have to remove any cover you may have on the back of the iPad or it will not fit down into the dock. There is only enough distance between the prop and the charging interface to fit the iPad. Other than that, the unit works great. I bought it to use for Facetime video chats and it works great for that. The dock is heavy enough to hold the iPad without tipping over. You don't have to worry about bumping the table a knocking it over. It is pretty sturdy. I like the simplicity of its design.

This product charges my iPad very quickly and I like the vertical stand, thus taking up less room on my desk

I was pretty surprise at how much I really liked this item. I have had other charging docks for similar price, but this one looks great, and really saves room on my nightstand compared to the others. its truly great because it is simplistic and clean cut looking. Also, durable. it does take longer to charge my ipad 2 on this dock than others that I had before, I mean by 4-6 hours longer. but I still love it more than the other ones.

This seemed to be quality made. I needed one for my phone and the sales guy gave me this one stating it's what I needed. Oops!

Good dock for a great price ( Bought it on sale). This dock is very useful either as a charger or stand. Doesn't slide on a smooth surface and holds up iPad very well. Does not work with iPad3 or later.

Love this stand/charger in the kitchen to display recipes in my iPad.

Dock works fine for intended purpose. Has some weight, so it's stable. Like the fact that audio plays though a 1/8"/3.5mm built-in jack, but it seems that the tablet's volume control is disabled when placed in dock. Odd.

Perfect for my kitchen, so I am able to use my iPad in my kitchen to look up recipes.

This iPad doc is so convenient. Love the way it holds iPad at just the right angle whether portrait or landscape. It keeps the iPad charged during a ball game and I love the size.

I use this for my charging station / alarm clock on my nightstand. It keeps the iPad up and out of the way.

This product works, as advertised, but it takes a long time to charge the iPad.

This is a great dock to use for a fast charge. Usb connection is a plus.
