For my kids, wired apple earpods are the best. They seem to lose every pair of expensive airpods they get or drop them in water. With affordable wired earpods, they never get lost, and they work every time. And honestly, we think wired sound is better than airpod sound.

My true wireless earbuds ended up in the washer. I would definitely say that I prefer those, but my budget preferred these. While wireless is nice, for my purposes of listening to audiobooks and videos while at my desk, these are just fine at a 10th of the price of wireless. If you are looking at buying wired in-ears, I would definitely recommend Earpods.
