    These x86 Apple machines are hard to get nowadays. Most are used/refurbished. Was lucky to find one at Best Buy and this system is performing rock solid; haven't run into any issues within the first 30 days of use.

    The computer is great. The refurbished part is the issue. The power adaptor that came with the computer did not work. You could tell the cord was worn and probably had a short in it. It only recharged computer when in exact right spot. The store was not helpful in this issue and I had to but a new adaptor out of pocket. I will probably go refurbished route directly from Apple next time. Better support.

    apple is apple but this thing is heavy as **** and does anyone have suggestions on products/advice to help grip the un-ridged slick smooth surface of the entire closed and opened laptop with arthritic hands? i'm tired of dropping it.
