Bought my iPad back in 2013 and it still works great four years later. When I do upgrade to a newer model, I will opt for more space but who knows when that will be. This one still works great!

Love the wireless feature with Verizon. You can get online anywhere without a wireless connection. Well it is an Apple and the features are numerous. Must buy for Apple user and others venturing into the tablet realm.

A sound product that allows you to surf the net and send emails. I am not much of a gamer, but it also allows you to play all the games in the apple store.

    Good Device

Pros: Excellent screen, easy to use, lots of good, useful apps, fast response, good pictures when taken outdoors, light and thin, yet very sturdy feeling, seems like a sctratch resistant screen, movies look very good, multi-tasking is really nice. Cons: No Flash Player support, grainy indoor-low lighting type pictures, the Verizon Model only tops out for me at about 750K with 5 bars of Verizon 3G signal, 350K is my normal speed, screen has noticeable glare problem in certian lighting conditions, attachments are ridiculous in price. Final Thoughts: I would highly recommend one of these if you can live without the occasional need for Flash Player support, but try and find a friend who has an AT&T one and see what their speed on 3G is first if you have to have the 3G model.

I brought the Ipad 3G verzion model because the AT&T version was sold out. This Ipad is much faster than the orginal version and its even faster just working on my wifi at home, where the orginal one was hit and miss and often very slow. I havent signed up for the 3G service yet, as there is no need. The only reason i got the 3G was for travel so i wont have to take my heavy lap top around. I also love the slim design of the ipad & its not as heavy as the first one. And the back up from my orginal to the new one, was also very fast. Very happy with my purchase.

I toyed between an iPad 2 or and Android Tablet an decided on the iPad I have an Android cell phone that reboots itself all the time and just does what it wants to do dials numbers and goes to programs at will I vowed not to go with the Android for thar reason.....love the iPad 2 real easy to use and no hang ups with the OS. Screen quality is superb wish I went with bigger hard drive though. Needs a light for low light video.

I went back and fourth between the iPad and a zoom. A friend told me to wait till the new I pad came out. I am so glad I did, this is amazing. I have only had it 2 days but I haven't got off of it yet. Battery is better than I was anticipating. So fast as well. I am usually a pc person, but I am getting used to this layout very quickly.

I was the owner of the first Gen Ipad and was Excited to see that the 2nd gen Ipad was making most of the improvements that I wanted. I like that the unit is flat compared to the 1st gen so that when I put the iPad 2 on the flood it dosent wobble like a turtle. The iPad is also faster and the fact that it has a cameras is also nice. I have a 27inch iMac and the iPad is a great piece of equipment that keeps me connected when Im not at my desk.

This IPad is so easy to use, anybody can do it! I have not yet set up the 3G network, but I'm happy with the ability when I do want to use it more on the road. I bought this IPad right before a vacation, so that I wouldn't have to haul my laptop along. Unlike a laptop, this little gadget is very security friendly at the airport. Nobody ever asked me to run it through the scanner separately. At the resort, it was much easier sitting by the pool with the IPad that a laptop. And then there are the games! My husband used it all the time and finally bought his own IPad as soon as we came back into the States. We never missed an important message or email and were able to read a 35-page business proposal in the gate area. You can't do that on your Black Berry! O.K. I'm totally sold on this thing. Unfortunately, I'm so impressed with Apple products now, that I will have to get a matching laptop at some time. Good thing, there's interest free financing!!!!!

Okay, I have had this product for two days now and my family and I have yet to put it down. I have a child that is pre-school age and there are not only regular games on here but there are educational games that my child enjoys. There are also things on here that my wife and I enjoy as well. Not to mention that I can sync my outlook contacts with this. The sound is great (way beyond most lap tops). The graphics exceeded my expectations. If you have even thought about getting this once, I would highly suggest it. You can use a program where it allows you to create and look at MS Office documents. This is by far the best little gadget I have bought in a while.

This is my first attempt at a computer type device besides my desk top at home. I wanted to be able to have ease of travel with it, but yet felt that a notebook would be too cumbersome. I have thoroughly enjoyed the IPAD 2 that I purchased. I have been able to bring it along with all of my daily activities...and still keep in touch with my intrnet, facebook, games, etc. My only negative thing that I would say is that there were no instructions at all regading how to oad my ipod. Thank god I have a 20 year old who just shook his head at me and proceeded to download all I needed from my desktop. (I hate when my kids make me feel inept!)

    iPad 2 Now A Bargain

If the camera and 4g are not something you use then go with the iPad 2 instead of spending the extra on the 3rd gen "New iPad". Yes the screen is better on the "new iPad" but the iPad 2 screen is excellent and comparable to other tablets on the market. Bottom line for me was I found this one as an open box (still like brand new) so I got the 3G version for $50 less than the "new iPad" WiFi only model. 30 days before (prior to the release of the 3rd gen) this version was $150 more. I upgraded from the original Galaxy tablet (7" screen) and was worried the larger screen would make it harder to handle. That isn't the case. It is like carrying an standard notepad versus a 5x7 one. Really not much difference. I bought two cases. One very slim one for standard use around the house and short trips. The other is the Zagg Keyboard case for business trips. The latter adds some weight but is the best combination of case and useable keyboard out there. Like carrying a really light laptop. Battery life allows me to go for several days of moderate use without recharging. Only wish the camera was better though I'm getting around that by using my point and shoot and the iPad camera connection kit to download the photos on the road then importing them into iPhoto on the iPad. At the reduced iPad 2 price point no other tablet can compare. The only reason to go with another brand was price.

    Beware Students & Professors

I love apple products and have for a few years now. The iPad 2 was love at first sight when it arrived, but 2 days later my wife and I both realize it's a mistake and unusable for students. It's basic inability to run Flash Player means we cannot access important parts of our university studies from this device. I also couldn't believe that I couldn't send a simple attachment through my email. Its these types of basics that are not acceptable to be left out to me. On the like side, dual cameras and face time are rocking to have, but why in 2011 does apple still put such lousy, subpar cameras on these types of devices? Pictures are sadly grainy and very poor quality. The processor is fast, onboard keyboard is very accurate, holds charge for the 10 hours, but be prepared to have to let it charge for a full 10 hours each time too. I gave the iPad 2 two stars, but as I conclude this review, I'm realizing two stars is too much for speed and name recognition. So sorry apple, the cons far out weigh the speed. Lowering to one star. Students beware, do not buy for school, it'll bite you...very hard

Really a great little device. Screen is really nice and the processor seems pretty strong. I've played around with Android on my Nook Color and Android is nowhere as polished as iOS.
