As much as we'd like to say that something like the Xoom has threatened Apple's presence in this space, it's difficult (if not impossible) to do that." Here is a performance comparison between the iPad 2, and Xoom. You can see in the first picture, the iPad 2 was more than 250% faster in this particular test than the Xoom. In the second picture, we can see the iPad 2 is 390% faster than the Xoom. The iPad has a superior build quality, its is much thinner than its competition. The operating system is fast clean, and advanced. The iTunes movie/TV show store and app store at totally unmatched by the competition. Smart cover is very useful.
