I had very high hopes when i bought this product i like most Apple products (ipod touch ,nano,iphone, ect.) but this was my first ipad purchase i bought mine from a friend who waited in line at launch and i was very excited but the ipad 2 let me down first i have to say i love playing games and surfing the internet on it its smooth and very natural to use your fingers to navigate on such a large screen it also has a amazing selection of apps and a very quick smooth interface but after my enjoyment of the games (plants Vs zombies and Fruit ninja) i found the ipads major weaknesses first the camera quality is poor most pictures turned out a little dark and pixle filled even when in bright lighting environments i know the ipad isnt marketed as a great digital camera but still they could have done better second the way that apple restricts you from content i know this is on all apple products ipods and ect but it still bugs me and is a major gripe i have if im paying $500 and up for something i should be able to put my own vids on it and sync it with more than one pc the other small problems i have is the lack of a retina display you think apple would want their latest and greatest display technology in their latest and greatest products but no the display is still good quality and looks great but the lack of retina was a let down the display also picks up a mass amount of glare and bleeds on the edges on occasion my last problem is the lack of ports i know they wanted to keep the ipad thin and light but they could have still done that and added a slight amount of bulk in certain areas to include maybe a usb in and a HDMI port as well as an Expandable Sd card slot but if you love apple you'll most likely enjoy this product its just not for me

I bought the IPad 2 for my husband's birthday. We thought that everything about it was great until we realized that the camera kept freezing and we could not use facetime. Luckily the Apple store exchanged our IPad for a brand new one. This one has been working much better. The 3G can be slow in remote areas, but other than that we are definitely having fun with it!

I was very sceptical about the iPad when it first came out but have found it very easy and functional. Small enough to fit in my purse. The speed is fast enough to get information in a hurry.

All in all this is a product I am thrilled with. The only thing that could make it better would be for it to run Flash. I absolutely love the Zaggfolio case/keyboard that I purchased separately as it makes it like a tiny laptop and with the Citrix app, I can access all my work files from this wonderful little tablet and work has never been so fun! Love it!

I have an iPod (2 of them) but this is my first apple computer. Not happy but I think it is because I am not familiar with apple computers. I am a microsoft and android user. First for example, when downloading an app it kicks me back to the homepage. I would like the option to use a backspace key to go back to the previous page. And not all of the app pages are loaded with back buttons. Second, as a user of android and now apple apps not happy with the iTunes app store. Android by far has the better apps. (free of course). I downloaded the magazine app and when I went to open the app it was charging for the magazine. So the app is free but the contents are not. I do not like the search page being a permanent fixture on the desktop. No hdmi no usb. I have used the Acer tablet (A500) and I like the option of having backspace and home keys on desktop they also have a button that shows U the last 3 pages u searched. I am going to try the iPad out for another week maybe I will get used to it and then it maybe going back for an android tablet.

Its a great product, but overpriced. i havent signed up for the 3g yet and not sure that i will. i can just use my cellphone to brows the internet when i dont have wifi. just didnt want to regret not getting the 3g version.

I love the battery life! I use this everyday and rarely have to charge it. With the new software and the free iCloud account, it is 10 times more valuable than before! I use it rather than my Mac now to edit my photos I take with my iPhone.

I love my iPad2! However, I bought the best case in the store to protect the screen and it shattered! I bought the leather case which covers all sides and was about $69.99. I had it in correctly, placed in my bag and was walking out the door. My bag hit the door jam not very hard and when I opened it up, the screen itself was shattered. The iPad still works and the touch screen works which is strange. The second screen did not break inside and nothing was leaking on the skin. So I am pretty sure it was just the top screen. But they need to make cases stronger or the screen stronger. For a computer that is not cheap and with upgraded coming out faster than ever, the least they can do is that. I hate to give this a low rating because everything else about my iPad I LOVE! But if you buy one be extra careful and protect it with your life. I would not suggest packing it with your case ever or in your purse. Carry in your hands and don't let it go!

I purchased my iPad just in time to leave for a month in the South. I have used it on the road to check gas prices, make reservations, check weather, points of interest and much more. So far, I'm pleased with it. I'm still learning.

My 3 year old can handle the pad without any difficulty. This is my first time with an Apple product and I've been able to make the transition pretty smoothly!

I'm typing this from my new iPad I picked up on launch day. It's quite the little powerhouse. Very ascetically pleasing. Overall fun experience.

I bought the Ipad because its all over mags, the internet and tv commercials. I thought it was cool, till I got my hands on my friends Motorola zoom, his tablet was faster smarter and much more efficient overall. After doing some research ( which I should've done before I made my purchase) I found that the only reason people stick to the ipad is basically the apps and trend, its cool to have an I pad. But the specs on other tablets are far superior. The simple fact that most of the internet runs on flash and the pad doesn't run flash say's alot. I'll say this, apple corp are marketing geniuses, when they can outsell superior products. I'm going to best buy tomorrow to check out the new toshiba thrive tablet, I read good things about this one.

I am a college student and I find myself using my IPad 2 everyday. I mainly browse the web, check emails, and save notes from class. This tablet is very great for the price and I would recommend it to anyone. The 3G is good also. Overall, great tablet!

I originally bought the ipad for school but after having it for a few weeks I have found I use it more than my actual computer. I only wish the camera was better but other than that I haven't had any issues using it or connecting it through my verizon account. My only complaint has to do with the sales guy I worked with. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and what I needed and he just kept telling me I actually needed the 64 GB ipad and a cover that costs $30 more than the one I wanted. I know they are on commission but because of that interaction I have decided I will do my Best Buy shopping online.

Once again, Apple gives us the top tech, although at a higher price than the others. Great features, this has replaced my regular camera and camcorder. The quality of pics/vids for a tablet is excellent.

A bigger, better version of the iPod touch with tons of features & capability. Wi -Fi & Verizon 3G is a big plus. Excellent for travel, watching movies, or even surfing the net. Several Apple & 3rd party accessories to fit your needs.

The screen quality is near photographic. I can watch streaming HD video with out a problem and worked fantastic with international Skype calls. It's expensive, but the quality and performance is outstanding.

Our grandson who is 7 and attends school for autistic children is using the iPad 2 for audio sounds as well as word recognition. The school uses specific apps for their classes and it has helped him tremendously! Thanks so much Apple and schools with the foresight to see how this might help children with certain learning disabilities!

I bought this device thinking I would be able to jailbreak it to enable all the features I want that Apple has overlooked. I guess that was silly of me, as of 5/28/11 there still is no jailbreak. That basically makes this thing a paper weight to me. I bought a bluetooth GPS that I wanted to link up to it but cannot without the jailbreak. Who knows what Apple's reasoning is for that! The only thing I use it for currently is twitter and that app seems to crash quite a bit. I keep thinking I should sell it and get an iPad 1. I wish the Android tablets were better as I find it embarrassing to own an Apple product. That said, its a good device. It's just too limiting out of the box. While 99% of users probably wont care, I do. I don't like my UI decisions or what apps I can and cannot install decided by Apple.

Like it. Had to have my granddaughter help me at first, but picked it up quickly. No problems so far.
