This iPad was purchased as a gift for my 91 year old mother in law. She had been using a second generation iPad my daughter had replaced and loved it but it had started having issues. She is elderly and disabled but loves to keep up on news, post on Facebook, email and shop online. The 32 gb is plenty for her needs, but I would get a higher gb model for anyone who wants to play a number of games, do genealogy, or other things that take a lot of space. We knew this already but also knew this would be way more than she would need. We have all gotten 128 gb models for ourselves. She is thrilled with it and it is much lighter than her old one, which is really an important issue when arthritis and other movement related issues are part of the equation.

This model iPad is faster and has lots of newer features than my previous one. I use it constantly rather than going to my big desktop. In addition, its smaller size and weight makes it a perfect traveling companion.

Let's face it, ipad innovation has been incremental for a number of years. If you're considering this to replace an older ipad, it might not be worth doing. I have a 4th gen and this isn't that much better. Sure it's slimmer, and smaller, it has touch ID too. But compared to the 4th gen, it doesn't "feel" so new. Now that's not an indictment, it's that apple has built such a great product to begin with. There's not a lot of room to make it better. If you need to replace an ipad 2nd-4th gen, this is a worthy device. If you want your first ipad, this is the one to buy. So far, apple's lifecycles for ipads has been long. Until recently, you could still do iOS updates on an ipad 2 and 3. That tells me that buying an Air 2 is a solid purchase that should last for quite a few years.

I ordered this when the newest iPad pros came out and they reduced the price on the iPad Air 2. Replaced a first-gen iPad mini. Lots of improvement! Better wifi, faster response, very clear graphics. I only wish that it let you use the Apple Pen - I guess you have to step up to the iPad pro to get that functionality.

I traded my iPad 4th gen 16 GB ($122) towards this iPad Air 2 - much faster, lighter and smaller but with same size screen (narrower bezel) a definite "no brainer". Ended up paying just over $200 out of pocket !

This is a replacement iPad for my 90 year old mother. Easy to use and it was very easy to transfer the information from the older 2nd edition iPad to this new one. Love the smaller profile and lighter weight.

I'm an Android guy and have never owned any apple products. I decided to give this iPad a try and I loved it so much that I had to buy an iphone. It's easy to use, perfect size and the performance is great.

I had the second version of the iPad and could not decide whether to upgrade. Ultimately I purchased this iPad Air2. For anyone with an older iPad that is on the fence about buying a new one, pull the trigger. This iPad Air2 is so much faster than earlier models. I wish I hadn’t waited so long to get it.

I bought this for my wife to upgrade her iPad 2. I thought it would be a little better. I was surprised that this iPad was faster, lighter, and had more storage. She is very happy with it.

This is are 4th IPad , my old IPad 1 was not cutting it anymore , my wife and daughter both have the air 2 . Now I have one a its lighting fast , battery life is amazing ,take great pics too .

The ipad air 2 is the best tablet, it has a great screen, great battery life and excellent performance. The included touch-id sensor is great for using apple pay for apps and in safari.

Purchased the 32gb wifi in gold, and it's just what I need for my travels. I wanted a tablet that is lightweight with fast processor, and the iPad Air 2 doesn't disappoint. Just perfect!

This is my second iPad tablet. I would be lost without it. The Air is a great tablet. Light weight...small...so easy to navigate. Safari is a gret browser too. Love the Apple products!!

I really love the new iPad Air 2! I use it for work and leisure and it suits my needs perfectly. The screen is the perfect size, it has great processing speed, and it's lightweight.

I was in the market for an iPad for some time, and I am very satisfied with the Air 2! The 32GB really helps, it is lightweight and portable, and very convenient. Highly recommend!

The wife's original Ipad 16 gig was starting to show its age with slowdowns and randem lock ups along with the limited space due to the amount of pictures of the children and grandchildren. Upgraded to the Gold Ipad Air 2 32 gig and she has been extremely happy with it. Backed up the original and was able to restore to the new device easily. The one issue we had was setting up her profile initially as the Ipad refused to except her profile information. I skipped over this step and and was able to log in via the settings App and all has been fine since. I am now looking at a possible Ipad for my own for music and photos. Would recommend.

I bought the 9.7" gold 23GB WiFi model for my wife's Christmas gift, It was a relacement for her older generation iPad that she uses day & night. I got the Air 2, instead of the Pro because there wasn't much difference in features to justify payingan extra $250 for the Pro. I got the Air 2 when it was on sale fow $299 with free shipping to my home. The model is half the thickness and a little more than half the weight of model it's replacing. My wife says it is much faster and the battery lasts much longer too. I'm hoping she'll give me her older model once she's completed transferring her files over to the new one.

I was so surprised how light and thin the new model of iPad was. Great battery life and works great! I got a great deal from the in store apple guy! Super happy with it!

We bought our WiFi-only iPad Air 2 32GB at our local Best Buy store mainly because of wanting a large screen device to Facetime with our grandkids. It is a perfect size for us and Facetiming. To our surprise, we liked its abilities so much that we use it for about 50% of our online tasks. Even though we have only had Windows and Android devices, the Apple way of naming and doing things was easy to figure out. The power of this little beast is impressive - it is so fast loading pages, the display is terrific - there are literally no cons in our using experience. I HIGHLY recommend the Apple iPad Air 2.

Apple products all follow similar characteristics: They are very easy to use, well designed, and have beautiful high resolution screens. If you're not tech savvy and want something that doesn't need much thinking, ipads are the best device for you. Keep in mind that most apps and devices try to adapt themselves to Apple products unlike Android operating devices that usually have some bugs to deal with. I would definitely recommend this tablet as a first tablet to anyone. Some of the issues that I find with this tablet: 1) Fixed memory without any SD card slots: For a music fan like myself, I always have to keep track of what I am downloading on this device and how much free space it has. Note that going with higher capacity options is one way to go, but I always ask myself why should I pay $100 more when I can buy an SD card for 1/3 of the price and add it to a Samsung tablet. 2) Some of the features that Apple is forcing down the throat of its customers bothers me. for example, every time there is a software update, I have to deal with the security options that Apple is trying to force on me (fingerprint login or adding a passcode, etc). I didn't care much about these before but nowadays they seem to have become a headache.
