I have been putting on my own all-day workshops utilizing PowerPoint presentations, playing background music and running payments with a separate device for each task. The quality of each item varied and it took up a lot of space to pack all these. For long trips where flying was involved, it was impossible to have everything I needed come with me due to the expense of baggage. Now I carry 1 item - my iPad. It does it all and more - AND it does it better!

This is a tremendous step up when compared to my iPad2. The display is noticably sharper with brilliant colors. The processor is also noticably faster. The only negative, albeit very minor, is that it is a smidge thicker and heavier than the previous iPad. I can live with this as the positives associated with the new iPad far outweigh any negatives. I am eagerly waiting for this same technology to be used in the iPad mini!

Just picked up the black, 64 Gig, AT&T retina display iPad. This is probably the biggest upgrade to date for the iPad. I upgraded from the IPad 2. The new processor is very fast. When I turn off wifi, I have the LTE indicator in the upper LH side. LTE is just as fast as my home wifi. Very happy with the upgrade.

I finally decided to upgrade from the iPad 1st generation and the 4th generation is worth the wait. The processing speed and the LTE network have been impressive. I like the slimmer design vs the earlier incarnation and along with the Smart Cover.

Overall super device. I am not a techie but found the iPad so easy to set up and use. Love the touch screen keyboard ...no trouble adapting . Camera is fabulous and retina display provides awesome clarity. This device has changed my view of technology. It works so fast and so well that I no longer dread doing things online! Thank you apple!

I purchased the latest iPad because my 1st generation IPad was not able to download or play some of the newer games. I thought the performance would be far superior, but it is not. I am not a huge fan of the screen with the exception of games. In that case it shines. My pics look much better on my old IPad. The default brightness setting is so low, one must wonder if the new IPad is broken. Also, I am not able to use this new IPad for work. The reports I need will not load on it while connected to my company's VPN (my phone which is just as new running the same OS works fine). Lastly, I paid 53.00 for my 1st month of service EXCLUDING the activation fee. I was told that I should have gotten a bill, but I didn't. I just kept getting messages that I needed to add data, and then when I tried it said account type not supported. I got it straight with AT&T, but I still paid way too much for month one. Oh well , pluses, no more crashing games!!

Upgraded from original version. Great display. Much faster. Siri is very helpful. Getting driving directions is easy and accurate.

Great Easy to use take it any where. Long battery life. Was a Christmas gift. I am now looking to purchase the I mac air for my wife Lots of great apps and books. I just can't say enough great things about my I pad

Love it! I bought the iPad with retina for screen and picture quality, use it while on the road, to download pictures from a SD card, with the use of a lightning to SD adapter (sold separately) they also have other adapters that look very handy, but works beautifully as of now. In fact I'm using it to write this review, ton of features and apps, also very useful for home security/baby monitor use, haven't used the cellular portion of it yet, but nice part is I can buy it when I need it like for road trips for instance, and pay as I go with no contracts...

I was debating between IPAD Air & IPAD with Retina+Cellular Data. I finally bought IPAD with Retina+cellular data option. The IPAD is great in quality, sound, display & more important battery life. I used T-mobile SIM card on this to get 200mb life time free cellular data option (free browsing while out of WIFI range. Best Buy is always great support.

I won't be the first or last to review an iPad like this. Great screen, great apps, intuitive user interface. Low on value and price point when compared to the competition. I'm Apple-synced with my mobile devices, but still use a PC for the high HP stuff, so on I trudge with an iPad and soon-to-be iPhone 6 whenever it gets released.

Long a fan of Apple admittedly, this is the 3rd iPad I've had. My desire for speed has been the reason for upgrades because all that I have bought are still working just fine. It just works and it's easy to use. I would recommend this product for anyone who likes to read, in particular. Magazines are beautiful on it and it cuts down the clutter of paper. There are gobs of apps to choose from, one more fun than the last.

This was a Mother's Day gift for my wife. It does everything a laptop does or better.

Everyone in our family now has an IPad & we use them all of the time. They are great to take when you travel to read, play games, text, email, surf the internet, take pictures, listen to music and more. The battery life is great & they charge quickly when you need it. The display size is wonderful - not too large & not too small. We couldn't live without ours & never leave home without them!

This is my 4th iPad. Apple has made great improvements in each new model. It is a quality product and so useful and portable - watch out - you will find that you no longer need your laptop.

This is my 3rd ipad. I have enjoyed using every version. I still have the old ones that various people in my family are using. They all still work fine. It is a very easy to use product as are all the Apple products. I think this version does not get hot like the last model that I had. The notes app is not stable, don't put anything in there that you want to keep without saving it. You will go to that app one day and everything will have disappeared. This has happened to the last 2 versions as well as my iphone. I have had good luck with most other apps. This version is 4G network, don't really notice to much difference with that. The retina screen is great, nice clean pictures. It stores more then enough for what I use it for and is very durable in the right case. I have the Zagg cover but I know plenty of people who have no cover on it and don't have a problem with scratching. I have enjoyed all the ipads and am sure i will enjoy this one as well. The sound quality is not great but it is so compact I am sure the speakers are not very big. I bluetooth it to a speaker and it is fine and with the headphones it is fine to listen to music. They are expensive in comparision to many other tablets but I think they are very easy to use.

This is my 2nd iPad. I use in an Otterbox so with the screen protector I really can't see the difference in the retina display. Battery life is better 4g LTE is faster, better camera. Nice upgrade

I bought my husband an iPad a year and a half ago and while I can borrow it, I found that I enjoyed it so much I needed my very own! We are now a 2-iPad family! I love the new retina display screen and the Siri feature. I use it for social media, games and news, magazines and other reading.

I like the iPad with retina display for its ease of use and great colors

The resolution is great, sound quality is very good, but it needs stereo speakers. The fact that you can't run Flash is not good.
