I have had 2 IPod Touches, IPhones 4 and 5, and an IPad 2 prior to my purchase of the truly remarkable IPad 4th gen. I had given serious consideration to the new IPad mini, as I could have gotten 32 GB of mini for less than the price of my new 4th gen at 16 GB. The reality is, however, that the new IPad is significantly better for the money. The processor is noticeably faster than that in the mini, as well 2nd and 3rd gen machines. The Retina display is sharp and crisp, and you can see the difference even with the more compressed mini screen. Besides, Apple will probably have a new mini soon, one that is more modern. I decided to go with the best and will look at the mini when it is really more obsolescence proof. My only regret is not having gone alone with spending the extra money for the 32 GB machine, as I like to put full length concert movies on the machine. Thankfully, this is where ICloud comes to the rescue. I am clearly deeply imbedded in the Apple ecosystem and that works well for me. I can afford it. There are some really excellent Android machines (like Asus/Google) on the market. It would be tempting, but splitting between the ecosystems would not be practical, as they don't overlap enough or play well together. No buyer's remorse here.

I bought this as a graduation gift for my wife and it's been fantastic. It's easy to use and customize, there are so many cool apps to put on it, the internet browsing is much more fun. It becomes a more tailored experience because so many sites have a specific iPad app to make it even more engaging. Stays charged, always looks sharp. Recommended.

I have always been pleased with Apple products. I previously owned an iPad 1 and was pleased with it, but decided to upgrade. Other tablets don't compare to an iPad. The iPad 4 has a noticeably sharper and brighter display. It's fast and has a long battery life. It is very easy to use and has many applications. Having camera/video capability on this iPad is nice to have. I love being able to utilize Siri and the voice features. I've throughly enjoyed my new toy so far.

I just love it. It is easy to take anywhere, fits in my purse. It takes great pictures, so you have great pictures with you all the time. it is easy to hide in a magazine if you want to use where you're not suppose to. Battery life is good, I have it in an otter box so it is protected and won't scratch . To many good things to list. The price was great too. It was on sale and then got more money off for Black Friday and also triple pts for my best buy card.

We upgraded finally from our iPad 1st generation and have not been disappointed. It is everything you would expect--good speeds, plenty of memory, excellent resolution, excellent battery life.

The ipad with reitna display is great. There are so many great things to say about it. The screen is amazing, great battery life, easy to set up and use and on and on. I find new ways to use it almost everyday.

I use many times each day, to check weather conditions, many E-Mails every day. I like Sarfiari because it is faster than my desk top. Face time is very fast and teriffic quality picture. Overall it is easy to use and very fast with excellant battery life. The fact that I can print from it is great.

i would recommend this to every musician. It is a product that is only limited to one's imagination. I use it for recording new music, as a music live performance mixing board coupled with a Mackie DL1608, a second ipad as a lyric reader attached to my microphone stand, and for downloading new music for Rhapsody and itunes. Also for storing all of my music creations.

The iPad was the original tablet and continues to be the leader in ease of use and number of apps available. Good battery life too.

I love my new iPad with Retina Display! So easy to use. I used to have a tablet and worried I would miss the freedom of app choices, but there are so many that are the same in iPad apps. was easy to get setup and adding apps right away. I Love the graphics, everything is so crisp & clear. very slim & lightweight, even in my new Clamcase. (which has a keyboard & makes it work like a small Mac book.) The sound is yet another bonus I didn't realize could be so good. No need to use earphones to hear movies and music. Audio books can be heard well also! So far no problems with battery life. I do plug in nightly out of habit. So glad the hubby bought this for me for my birthday! Great item for a great price! So happy to now be an APPLE girl!

I bough this tablet to experience apple product. I am not a apple fan. However, great was my surprise after i started to use this tablet. The interface that apple offers is easy and colorful, the memory is a little bit small (16GB). I would recommend to buy at least 32GB in order to have more space to store videos and music. in other hand, kids love apple interface because is very easy to operate, my 3 and 8 years old do not have any issues getting their apps and videos. If you are looking for a product that is very easy to operate and has a enough power to run your apps... and obviously you have the money... go for it.

Tried to purchase one on an auction site and it was selling for more than what I would pay for on such a site so I decided to just buy one out right. I went to Best Buy (always great stuff) and got a lot of help deciding which one to buy. I ended up buying the 16GB with Retina display and love it!!! It is compatible with the Square card reader (which I use a lot for our Pack 716 functions). I'll be watching tv and would want to research something I saw and it connects wirelessly with ease!! The color is great and seting it up to use is the easiest even for someone like me that has never had one. Best buy I have ever made!

I've wanted an Ipad for some time now and finally broke down and bought one. Up until now I've used only desk top and lap top computers. After using it for over a month I am very impressed with the Ipad. The best thing about it to me is the display. Im very into photography and I have thousands of pictures on discs. I've put hundreds of them into the Ipad now, and they have never looked so good! The display is so good, it's almost like looking through a window instead of at a computer screen. It took a little time to get used to the Apple operating system because I've only used Windows based computers up until now. But it is easy to learn and in some ways much better than Windows. My friend has a tablet running Windows 8, and I much prefer the Apple ios. I plug the ipad into a wall outlet to charge it, and it takes a long time for the battery to reach full charge, but it has such a long life that this is a minor complaint. Overall, I'm very happy with the Ipad. There are many tablets on the market now, and some are much cheaper, but I think the Ipad is worth every extra dollar.

This is good ipad. Easy to used and battery is good. Retina display is clear picture. Im glad i buy this model and im so happy with my ipad.

This item was purchased as a replacement for an iPad2. Overall the new device has a brighter, better picture. It is also faster and more responsive. The battery life seems marginally better, nothing to really speak of. One concern is the heat this device generates. After about an hour of use, the back of the iPad is very hot to the touch, almost uncomfortably so. Time will tell if this gets out of hand. Overall, it's a nice, portable entertainment device, albiet an expensive one.

This is my 2nd ipad. i had the 1st Gen. When i bought the 4th gen i was blow away. Great speed and functionality. I was most impressed with the camera. when you zoom in it is not fuzzy. Great Job Apple

I bought this iPad for my mom. She is definitely not a technology savvy person. She does not even have a smartphone. However, iPad is easy to use, she learned pretty fast how to use the apps and other features. It is definitely a great product for everyone.

We have a first generation i-pad and this one is very nice. The picture is excellent. The battery last longer than the other one. I play a lot of games on it and it keeps up with me. I am not very fast at games. It was a very nice birthday gift. I like it.

This tablet is excellent! The HD screen has excellent picture! It is easy to use and set up. For being someone that thought I wouldn't use it that much, I use it all the time! It has a great battery life! Perfect screen size that is easy to read and navigate.

Great tablet! Amazing screen very very easy to use and set up. If you already have an iPhone or other apple devises the so is pretty much the same so it makes for a very simple transition. Since purchase I find my self using my laptop less and less pretty much everything I need to do I can do from my ipad. And with Icloud your iPhone and iPad are constantly in sync pictures or music that are on one device sync to the other which makes it very nice even apps that offer a iPad version auto download to the opposing device. I have also used an android tablet and I find my self liking the iPad much more it feels more finished and of higher quality and everything just works which I love!
