I waited for a couple of years to buy a new Iphone to replace my Iphone 4. I got the Iphone 5S 32GB because i need the storage as I did not want to delete the pictures stored in my old phone and all my apps as well. Like any other Apple products I feel that the phone is special and that there's a lot of effort that has been put to it to make it better. I commented on the price as I paid $100 more for the 32GB phone vs the 16GB phone. I feel that it can be cheaper than this (maybe $50?)

I am really enjoying the speed of the iPhone 5s and Touch ID has really simplified unlocking the phone from sleep and making purchases in the Apple stores.

This was purchased as a Christmas present for my parents, and Best Buy was willing to work with me to keep it a surprise (had to sneak the new SIM card into the old iphone until Christmas day). I was given a sealed box and moving from an iPhone 3GS to 5S was extremely simple due to iCloud backup. All we had to do was call AT&T to activate. 5S is a huge leap from a 3GS in speed and screen clarity. The fingerprint unlock is a neat feature that my father likes to play around with now. Over all, it's a great complement to the other apple products in the household.

This phone is better than the previous ones - faster processing, good looks and the camera is awesome.

I love the iPhone. This phone is much faster than even my 5 was and that impresses me. I love how Apple always perfects the different aspects of the phone. The only complaint I have is the storage. They need to start at 32 gigs, then go 64 and 128. 16 isn't enough for anyone anymore. I can't tell you how many people I help as an IT consultant that don't have enough space due to picture and videos to even update their iOS to 7.

For the sake of time, this is NOT a review of iOS 7, itunes or the Apple "ecosystem". The phone is excellent. Graphics, speed, response, sound - all excellent. I was skeptical if the fingerprint scanner was a big deal since I never used a passcode on my old iphone, but I really like it. If you're used to entering a passcode, this feature is a must for you. My only complaint is my home button scrapes the edges half the time.

Overall the iPhone 5S is an excellent smartphone. I came from an iPhone 4 so the iPhone 5S is a significant upgrade in almost every respect. Better graphics, bigger screen, much faster CPU performance especially with ios7, the fingerprint scanner is convenient especially when downloading new apps from the AppStore. LTE performance is significantly faster than 3G when available. Having 32GB of storage space is much more useful as opposed to my older 16 GB iPhone 4. I recommend the iPhone 5S to anyone still using the iPhone 4.

I bought this phone for my son. My whole family has iPhones and I like that we can keep our calendars in sync across all devices. I was a windows phone user until 2009. I got my first iPod touch and was hooked on Apple.

I love how fast the internet is and the picture quality. The battery life is only average. Apps sometimes crash for no reason.

Great phone. Definetly notice the pickup in speed from the 5. Camera is great, I dont even use a separate camera anymore.

The iPhone 5s is thin and lighter than other most phones. Camera is improved.

I'm a busy college student always working or doing schoolwork, and this phone is great. The software is quick, and updates itself when you have a software update available, which is so convenient. The camera is quick and has many different options, and the pictures have amazing quality! And the voice navigation on the maps app is so convenient! Love my new iPhone!

When it was released, many saw this as the best smartphone on the market, due to its processing power and design. Sadly it wasn't a leap forward in size. The fingerprint sensor was indeed a giant step. I'm aware it's kinda small compared to what's here now, but sometimes performance is important.

iPhone 5s -Better native keyboard – more precise and predictive. More natural feel when typing. The auto correct is great on the 5s. -Siri – Smoother and better voice accuracy. More natural and intuitive. I provide commands (“remind me about the 8am dentist appointment on December 31th”) and Siri understands. If I issued the same command on the Galaxy S4, the voice recognition would be confused and misinterpret. -The overall Volume of speaker is louder on the 5s than on the Galaxy S4. I can hear the ringer from other rooms. -In my car and using the speakerphone on the 5s, others tell me the sound quality is night and day compared to the Galaxy S4 (Verizon). When I had my S4 (two different ones), they said I sounded garbled or as if I was talking through a tin can. -I have yet to experience an application crash on the 5s -The Camera is quick to snap shots and pictures are sharp -Availability of iMessage and Facetime. Makes communicating with other Apple users simple. I can see when they are typing a reply back to me, and I can even Facetime in the car or from anywhere without having to download an configure a 3rd party app such as Skype, and then hope the person on the other end had done the same (I have family who are not technology savvy, but easily use Facetime). -The iOS7 operating system is overall more refined and user friendly (i.e. – you can hold down and click X to delete an application on the iPhone rather than get confused trying to find the Settings/Application submenus on the Android/S4) -In my area, better overall signal quality / antenna strength. No dropped calls in the same spots I used my S4.

This is the third or fourth version of an iPhone I have purchased and I have to say I was really tempted to try a different type of phone this time around but ultimately stuck with the iPhone because it is simple to sync with my iTunes. Initially I thought the battery life was much better than my previous iPhone but within a day or two of using I felt that this battery drained just a quickly with limited use. Also, the sound quality while listening on a phone conversation is not that clear. I mainly use as a phone, to text, surf the web and mp3 player. I don't use many apps. Most of the issues I have with the iPhone are trivial. Overall I guess it is a good phone.
