I had the 4 for over 4 years and loved it but this is so much better, the fingerprint recognition makes unlocking the phone so easy. Pictures are better quality and the speed is much quicker than my 4.

I've had an iPhone since 2009. I just keep upgrading. This phone is the newest installation. I skipped the 5. I went from 4S to 5S. Much faster, far better camera. Overall I'm satisfied.

Fantastic new phone from Apple. Historically I have not bothered with locking my phone up and now I use the touch ID every time I use the phone. It's super quick and very responsive. The added bonus of the updated camera and super fast processor are also very snazzy. The biggest surprise was the significant difference in battery life over the iPhone 5. I imagine this is largely due to the new motion co-processor that handles some of the load.

iphone 5s is the best smart phone and a hard act to follow! Upon being a mac user this review is not just my opinion its a fact! Every smart phone is trying to keep up with macs super technology and advance operating systems! I truly believe that once you go mac there is no turning back!!!! The high 64 GBs helps you keep and track massive loads of pics,music,files,business related material,book,games,and what ever floats your boat!!!!! This phone will be your ultimate companion threw out your days and nights! Trust and believe this iPhone is the next step to perfecting how we use phones in our daily live and changed things as we know it!!!!!

I got the phone because of ability to upgrade happened to be same month as this phone coming out and had issues with android phone that lead me to wanting to try iPhone again. I had a 3 years back. So far battery is better than skyrocket 2, less crashes, great camera, lots of features I haven't got through yet. I don't push technology to its limits so I'm sure I'll continue to love it. Androids have many pluses too, and lots of people will prefer them, I just happened to get this and am satisfied

This is my favorite and best iPhone yet!! Size shape and all features make me pretty happy! Not to mention touch id

I love the phone, I think they could improve on the battery life some as I use the GPS function a lot . The camera is a big improvement.

I've had an iPhone since the beginning and love the advances but I really wish Apple would find a way to make the battery last longer. A removable battery would be an awesome change! I would also like to see a memory card slot so you don't have to pay so much for lots of memory although I'm sure that's how they make their money. The slow motion camera is tons of fun. I video my daughter riding her horse at a gallop and have gotten some really good video. I think call quality depends a lot on the carrier which is why I only gave 4 stars. I have AT&T and although they've improved I'd like to see more coverage.

I've owned every iPhone since the first and while I have enjoyed using them all this is the first one that is fast enough with a great battery, two things I've always wished were just a bit better. I still never use the flash on the camera despite the improvements because as with other cell phone flashes they are just too harsh to be usable. I do like the improved low light so I can lighten up photos taken in darker scenarios. Also, the video quality is great.

You will use this iPhone more than any other iPhone before it. It's fast, light and perfect size for any use.

I love the new iPhone. I've had one since the first one came out and probably will have one for as long as they are being made. I like the improvements in the 5S. It makes using it easier and very little learning curve if you've already had one. Only issue, as always with iPhones, is the battery life could be improved even more.

So far, this is a great phone. Faster and can really handle ios7. Love the slo motion and zoom video. Also enjoying the new panoramic feature. And multitasking is really good.

To be honest I was on the fence with which phone to buy. I was considering one of the Android phones (Note 3, Nexus 5), or the iphone 5s. In the end, I picked the iphone because of the integration it provides with other products I already have (ipad, MacBook). The integration is great but I was pleasantly surprised with the speed on this new phone. There is no lag at all. It just does everything quickly and I love it !

I have been a great fan of the iPhone. I had a 4 before getting the 5s. The new iteration plays up its hype. I'm just not too happy about the new calendar, it has its good points but it lost the simpler view that lets one see the monthly calendar while seeing the schedule for the day. The battery life is definitely shorter than I thought it would be despite doing some steps to help lengthen it (e.g. turning off the parallax effect, turning of Siri, etc.) But generally I'm happy with this phone.

upgraded from the 4s and was really happy with the screen resolution and speed of the new iOS. Camera seems to be much better than the 4s and even the speaker seems better quality and louder. The new finger print login works well as long as your finger is clean and dry, much better than login with password or code.

This is essentially an iPhone 5 with a fingerprint reader. It is faster than the 5, but that won't truly be noticeable until new apps come along and use this power. The fingerprint feature the the quintessential non-flashy but very useful feature. It works great and is hugely convenient. Lastly, I am very excited to see what developers will do with the dedicated motion sensor.

Very pleased with the 5s so far. It is fast, and the camera is terrific.

had the 4S prior to this phone so the speed of the 5S is great. Image quality is much better as well. not a huge fan of the new connector as everyone i know has had problems with them breaking. also had to upgrade all of the existing power adapters i have.
