so first off yes its expensive. best buy has other options for this but apple's brand is truly black and thinner than most of the others as it only has 2 slots on the inside for cards. you can fit close to 4 but i usually keep just 2 cards to keep it slimmer. the one issue i have is that the finishing around the case can melt. I have had it melt in my hand and on a table. the leather holds up fine but i wasn't happy that there's small bunches of melted sealing material all around the case.

I love my cover, it secures the face of the phone, and charges without taking the cover off each time. Great invention for Apple.

First let me say that if you have an Apple X phone and are planning to keep it for awhile, time to stock up on the Apple Folios as Apple doesn’t even sell them on their own website anymore. Our beloved phone is getting shoved aside for these newer models. So if you want a folio for YOUR phone that is a Genuine Apple, buy now before they are ALL GONE! Only a few colors left even on this website!

This is an outstanding case! It really compliments the iPhone X.

This was a gift for a family member. It did have a scratch on the leather however I think this could be because it was a open boxed item. Other than that it was great. Like that it puts the phone to sleep when closed (helping with battery life). Also you can put a few cards (credit cards or license) and a few dollar bills in the provided slots. Only reason it isn't great is the high price tag.
