This is the greatest item. Was having problems transferring pictures from my SD card to the laptop since getting Windows 8 and this makes transferring pictures to the I-Pad a breeze. Much easier to show people pictures having them on the I-Pad.

I was looking to purchase a Mac book pro so I could go through the pictures from my point a shoot ,Gopro and wildlife cameras.When I found out I could buy this card reader for my iPad air 2 it was a great match for what I was looking for.

Being new to Apple I was skeptical that something as simple as this connector could seamlessly transfer photos from my camera to my IPad. But it requires no setup and works perfectly. Kudos to Apple for making it a no-brainer.

I love that I can transfer my pictures from my camera card to my iPad and it is fast and very easy to do. I can then print or post pictures to my social media pages.

This product is awesome. It is so easy to use, all you need to do is to plug it in where the charging chord goes, and put your SDHC card in the other end and it will import all the pictures you select into your I-Pad.

This makes it easy to transfer photos from my cameras SD card to my IPad Mini. Couldn't be much easier...just plug it in & insert the SD card. Wish it still came with the USB adapter like the 30 pin variation did.

This adapter is so easy to use. Just pop in your SD card and you can upload pictures to a phone or iPad. Makes it easy to share vacation photos without having to wait til you get home or have access to a computet

This is a must have to load photos from an SD card directly to the IPad. Just insert the Card and plug the device into the IPad. The photos load automatically or you can select photos to load. Couldn't be any easier.

Great little add on for my ipad. I do a lot of photography and keeping the weight of things I carry, I got this to display images on the iPad while on shoot. Also I can free space in my SD card is a great help.

This product works great and makes it super easy to download photos from an SD card. I use it regularly for checking game cameras and it downloads the photos super quick, much faster than using a computer.

I was looking for a way to view/import pics using my Ipad. I purchased the above-referenced adapter AFTER purchasing the Apple - Lightning-to-USB Camera Adapter (which connects from Ipad to camera's cord (and it did not work with my Kodak Easy share camera - :It created an error message of too much power). Take the SD card out of camera and insert it into the SD slot then connect it to Ipad - this allows you to look at thumbnail-sized pictures with option to import pics. Makes it easier for you to view pics on the Ipad rather than on the camera. If you have a laptop you probably wouldn't even need ANY adapter - just insert SD card into laptop. Hope this helps

Works every time. I've tried cheaper generic "Apple" products that don't work well, never had a problem with one straight from them. Only downfall is their prices being high, so I always wait for a sale.

I bought this unit as a back up for my go Pro so when I was on vacation I could download my photos easily it works very good for this as all Apple products usually do. Stop Reading this and go buy one

I bought this adapter so I could transfer photos from my camera to my iPad mini while I was on vacation. I didn't want to bring my laptop with me but I wanted the chance to be able to save pictures and share them, so this was my best option! I was hesitant at first because when I read some of the reviews people were saying that the memory card didn't always show up when the adapter was plugged in but I haven't had any problems. The adapter has showed up every time I have plugged it in. My only criticism is that the pictures show up in thumbnail form and you can't make them bigger to see the picture in its entirety before importing them. Other than that, I would definitely recommend.

Our entire family used this while on vacation! We were able to view each other's photos and save the one we wanted to all of our Apple devices easily. No need to load, email, or burn to a disk!

This is great to transfer your pictures right out of the camera to the IPad. I LOVE it. So much easier than putting on the laptop and then syncing to the IPad. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great product and very simple to use. My parents who are 68 and 70 had no problem with this when I showed them how to do it. Too bad SanDisk couldn't make something as simple for IXpand.

It's so easy to use, and fits the bill perfectly. I can easily preview the photos I've taken with my Nikon when I'm away from my computer.

I have used similar device for earlier version of the iPad. This one seems to be much faster. The short cable is both and advantage and potential problem. since the device includes a cable, it should work with any cover I might put on the iPad. Because it has a cable I am a little concerned that it may develop connection issues down the road. So far it is fine. If i use it with the iPad angled so I can see the screen then the device is dangling by the chord. I plan to only use it laying flat to prevent this potential problem. The cable should be about 6" so you can view the images with the iPad in landscape orientation and the device rests on the table.

We bought our most recent camera and didn't realize it wouldn't Bluetooth to our iPad and this was a perfect 30 dollar fix. Extremely easy to use and I have had no bad experiences.
