Fast, solidly build and I never feel it is underpowered. I have a desktop at home for storage and this has been a revelation after carrying around a 15 inch MacBook Pro from 2011.

I love this laptop, light and very cute. It is everything I need. Happy with my purchase, I bought it during best buy anniversary sale so I got it in a really good price =)

As always, Apple does not disappoint. However, please know this is only a great computer for light to medium tasks. Not for the best choice for heavy tasks such as gaming or video or pro photo editing. Excellent portability, and a great gift for a light user like my daughter (school work, browsing, etc)

Compared with larger screen, I'm more likely to the smaller screen. And the computer configuration can meet the needs of myself, including coding and finishing experiment.

Really nice and sleek but useless for any real productive environment. Requires accessory connector to use anything. Glorified iPad. Overpriced.

I have to admit that I toiled over replacing my older MacBook Pro with a MacBook, but many of the negatives I was worried about going in have turned out to be positives. A USB-C adapter on my desk serves as a nice port replicator, so I only have one thing to plug in to get my external monitor, keyboard and power at my desk. Despite its size, the Retina screen is easy to read and makes for a reasonable second screen in the office.

Was at first very hesitant to purchase due to no usb port while charging, but with icloud, there was no reason to use a usb. Works perfect. A good choice. Works perfect.

The size of the laptop is what i love the most. It makes it easy for me to carry it around specially in school! Everything else is pretty similar to other Mac laptops.

Till now I am enjoying this macbook a lot. Got a good deal on the 512 GB version. Very good for browsing, netflix, youtube and email. Highly recommended for travelers.

The front camera is not very good, but it works perfect for what I bought it for.. school work!

I owned an HP prior to this Mac, and I must tell you the macbook far exceeds my expectation!!!

The only thing I have found that I don't like is you have to buy an attachment to be able to download your memory cards, flash drives, etc. Otherwise, I love the size.

Love my new MacBook! It's super lightweight! Would definitely recommend purchasing the adapter for extra ports so you can charge your phone at the same time

I chose this computer so that I could take it on my work trip and fit it inside my bag. I like using Apples because they are user friendly and are reliable.

Great upgrade to my old Macbook pro. I wish it had a USB port and not having to buy a separate connecter. Only complaint but No regrets with my purchase.

This thing is beautiful. It's so fast. I have used Mac's for YEARS and have never had issues. This thing is so sleek and I actually love the new keyboard.

Not sure these Macs are worth the premium you pay for 'em, anymore. Bought an Asus PC, as well, for almost a 1/3 of the cost, it's got 1TB of memory and is as fast. The Mac has a way smaller screen, too. It's not a bad machine, by any stretch of the imagination, but I don't know if the added cost gets you anything extra.
