This laptop is very good for traveling. The only thing that is missing is a usb port and/or sd card slot

I had problems with the keyboard seeming so small. It seems like I am always hitting the wrong keys. They are the same size as my 15 inch MacBook, but maybe it was the flatter keys compared to the ones on my older machine? The other thing that was weird is i was always tapping on the trackpad. I had to change it to where I have to actually click the trackpad instead of tap it. i want this smaller one for traveling. I hope it will work very well.

Love the Macbook but within 3 weeks of using the Macbook the enter key no longer worked as intended and I had to send it back for repairs.

The Air was the best computer on the market, and if you still need lots of connections like USB, displayport, etc, then it still is. But I am a convert to the 12" Macbook. It's much lighter, the keyboard is great and has lots of memory (i have the 512GB with M5 chip).

It is no question this is the best netbook ever. I got to his at 400 discount at Bestbuy.com. The only problem is Apple never give discount. If we are luck and wait sometime, the Bestbuy give great discount. Great product at great price of Bestbuy. Not Apple so!

Purchased a Mac for my middle school daughter and I am simply amazed at the power of this computer, the programs and videos, Retina display are all top quality. Combined sale with student discount for her and very pleased with very decent priced Mac product.

This mac was $350 off on sale and then $100 off for open box. I was able to get the upgraded version for $50 more than the base model. One drawback is the laptop was 6 months old by the time it arrived. I'm not sure trading 6 mos of the warranty was worth $100.

Our son has horrible handwriting like his father. They both should have gone to medical school. We bought this computer for our son to use in college and he loves going to school with his computer and nothing else. We are waiting to see if it helped his grades.

I really like my new apple. not happy only one port-power port but otherwise it is great.

A light portable computer for personal use. I would buy another MacBook.

I had been using the MacBook Air 11" as my primary portable laptop for years, and finally upgraded to the new 12" MacBook and absolutely love it! It's not the most powerful machine in the world, but does everything the standard user would ever need it for.

I've always loved macs. The only downfall with the new ones it does not have a USB port. Makes it a bit difficult. Had to purchase an adapter for $70. Overal the computer works great, slim, light. Perfect travel size. However the keyboard is slightly different then the normal MacBook pros and it takes some time to get used to.

Received the macbook with a dead battery. It won't turn on or even charge. This is not best buy's problem but Apple's quality control. The macbook that was delivered has a defective battery. So we have to send it back to best buy and wait for few more days for the replacement because they don't have it in stock. But thanks to Best Buy for being so quick and hassle free for the exchange.

Bought this after accident destroyed similar model. Easy migration and right back to work with even better computer. Terrific price for upgraded model and twice the hard drive space. Six months later and it is working great.

I needed a light weight computer to take with me on business trips and this small Apple computer is perfect. The sales representative at the local Best Buy did an excellent job helping me choose the best computer to meet my needs.

It's a mac. I love my MacBook pro and now I love this. But it only has two ports, a USB C, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The availability of USB C hubs, and accessories from Apple, as well as the middling reviews of those they have, is discouraging. The USB C charger cable isn't rated for USB 3+ data. So if you don't need peripherals, it's great, otherwise, it has some issues.

The MacBook was purchased as a gift for a family member. The MacBook is constantly used for school work and for watching Netflix. The person whom received the gift loves it, and now does need to monopolized the home computer anymore-- lol.

For a MacBook I was skeptical when I was told that they removed all the ports from the laptop, but against my best judgement I bought he laptop anyways, I love it. I'm a student in college and I always have been a fan of apple's build quality and how convinent they make everything for the user so when i made this purchase I knew what I was getting. Define toy satisfied with m purchase.

Very light and easy to carry, so it's perfect for a personal student laptop
