Camera could be better and when your going from a regular computer to a Apple one, it is a lot to get use to. But it’s pretty nice and hopefully it last.

Ordered online for a gift and it has a defective speaker. Emailed Beat Buy Customer Service due time mandatory stay at home order until June 10 but have not received a response as of yet.

Purchased this 8-25-19. We have already had to get it repaired. The laptop will not turn on. We were told it could be the software are something else. We will find out more after the diagnostic test is complete. Our daughter is without her laptop for school for days. It could be 2 days or up to 7 days. For the amount of money we paid for this and the questions we asked the sales person we couldn't go wrong with this laptop. Obviously we did since it has not been a month since we purchased the laptop. You only receive a 14 day warranty on electronics when purchased at best buy. It will be hard for me to go and spend money here again

Have had computer for 23 days and something happened out of nowhere. Bottom half of screen fuzzy and jumping. Had to be sent out for repairs. Spent over $1000 and is past the 15 day return window to be replaced. Only option is to be repaired. Will be covered as long as it’s not my fault which it’s not. So upsetting. Will never purchase anything from Best Buy again. Upon researching this laptop, see that this is a problem with a small number of these computers with a certain serial number. Why on earth would Apple and Best Buy not recall the product and replace???? I don’t want a computer that’s been repaired but a NEW REPLACEMENT especially considering the price!!

It’s an Apple product, so it isn’t cheap. Overall, I like the laptop, but I really wish it had more onboard storage capacity for the premium people pay to have Apple products.

Jury is still out on this product but I have had problems with the screen already on two of them. I am sending the second one to apple now for investigation.

Storage memory small but decent for a high school student it keeps them from overloading the computer by limiting what they download to it. It could use more accessories ports.

My daughter loves her new MacBook. The cost for the MacBook was less than I imagined it would be. She is using it for college and it has all the features she expected.

It’s pretty good laptop but now with the new version you shouldn’t even hesitate! Major improvements in the newer model including a much better keyboard design

The computer malfunction and was returned and exchanged with no hassle. I was given a different gray but didn’t know until it was opened for setup but I just kept it.

Great computer. Closed the computer and it cracked the screen. It has no rubber stopper for impact. Cost over 600 dollars to repair.

I ordered an open box Mac book air and received it with an activation lock saying the computer is already attached to the previous owners Apple ID. Due to the COVID-19 crisis I can’t return it in store and they didn’t include a receipt in the box to return it by shipping! I called and your put on hold for an hour or two and transferred to a million people that put you on another hold. Clearly the product wasn’t inspected throughly or this issue would have been caught and I specifically purchased a geek squad open box certified option to avoid issues and instead I have more issues. Apple can remove the lock but they need a proof of purchase with the serial number attached and when you purchase online it doesn’t come with the serial number attached so I have to call Best Buy again to be placed on a three hour hold and transferred a million times.

PROS: Light weight, pretty color CONS: The camera quality is very poor. During FaceTime it is VERY fuzzy. My old 2012 Window PC has a better video quality than this. Not worth the money. Have to purchase an adapter because there are only 2 USB-C ports and an audio jack. You get up to $630 for trade in with apple vs. up to $1530 for a MacBook Pro.

The MacBook Air has a lot of glitches. It does not work real well with some web sites. I've had better laptops over the years.

bought for a coworker, all good but camera wasn't great and so we had to buy an external webcam to make up for it. otherwise good

It does its job, but sick and tired of Apples internal softwares that crash the unit.

The computer glitched like a week after I got it. They told me contact Apple care. So for sure purchase apple care if you plan on buying one.

Nice MacBook for internet use! If you need something better, get a MacBook Pro!

This is a decent laptop but apple is just always looking to make more money. Less space and less plug ins so you have to buy them separate..

So far ok. For the price, the unit hasn’t been the most reliable. It acts up somewhat often with operational challenges.
