Unable to install Microsoft Office and Geeks unable to rectify the problem. Over a week ago was told that GeekSquad would get back to me in about 25 hours. What is none to do?

Nearly 5 years later and I am still very happy

When I bought this laptop, I had experienced a string of frustrations with the PC laptops I used to be devoted to and I was about to go into a program thay suggested a MacBook for what would be doing. I decided not to spend too much money in case I didn't like it. Not only did I have nothing to worry about but it's still in phenomenal shape. I've only used it for school and work, so the specs work for my needs. I actually made a Genius Bar appointment recently because I had an issue with some (non-Apple) software crashing and I wanted to confirm it wasn't a hardware issue. They not only confirmed that my hardware was in good shape but said I should have several more years of use with it. I have since purchased an iPad mini to complement my work needs, but I am still clinging to my android phone—for now. At least regarding laptops, I am truly impressed and when this beauty finally decides to retire, I know I will be getting another Mac.

While on FaceTime, the cameras quality is poor. For the price consumers pay for an apple MacBook, apple should upgrade the quality on the cameras as they do with the iPhones.

The new M1-based MacBook Air is simply an amazing laptop. The build quality is among the best you can find, the debut of the Apple M1 SoC is very impressive (even if the jury is still out in some areas), and the battery life is longer than all but a few alternatives. What’s more, and not always a given with Apple products, is that it’s a fantastic value.

This was clearly a used and returned laptop with signs of wear enclosed in a box that was in horrible shape! I am extremely disappointed in Best Buy!

I would like to know why Best Buy has not called me when I filled out one of three surveys regarding a spoiled Christmas when I purchased phones. I requested a phone call and have not gotten one!

Not worth the price dies fast and would rather now buy a gaming laptop since FaceTime is compatible with all devices now, and could run the Mac OS

It checks all the right boxes for a student. It’s lightweight, simple to operate, and fits right in to the apple ecosystem. It has great battery and even if you find yourself running low on life it charges pretty fast. If it’s within your budget it’s definitely worth buying. I already started customizing mine full with stickers as well I’m just so in love.

Disclaimer: worked in chip and laptop dev space for years focused on the highest and the lowest end mobile platforms. The MBAir started as a gutless ultraportable with insufficient storage but they began upgrading the components. It has matured into a Solid, lightweight, reliable, excellent quality machine, with a comfortable keyboard/screen, plenty of storage, ram, processing power for how I use it. I also have a pro for work and that things fan is running nonstop for zoom meetings. On that note, I mostly use my private laptop for online activities such as browser based apps/services, lightweight apps such as Office, zoom calls, email, and the photo app (minor editing: cropping and enhancements). I would like something with a little more power so am exploring the 15” for a little more ram and sdd even though I use cloud storage. I had a MBpro for work but the fan was always running esp during conf calls while running other local or cloud services. So I think the air would have performed similarly. Tried a Dell gaming platform for work in AI but it was heavy and clearly targeted gamers with its difficult keyboard.
